My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Adam. I just moved to Arlington County . from New York, at the beginning of November. The area here is fantastic. So, if you have any suggestions on sites to see or anything else, let me know. =]

I am a very laid back guy that just wants to enjoy life. Whether that be, traveling, staying home, or meeting new people, or anything else. I work full time now and plan to go back to school in September. I am open for trying most things. I enjoy going out, but I also enjoy just staying home for a night and just talking or relaxing.

I love going to upstate New York. . I enjoy going up there for a weekend with some friends. I started snowboarding when I was 20 and my only regret is not trying it earlier. One of the things on my list to try is Wake Boarding. I mean it can't be that different from snowboarding.... can it? I am definitely a nerd. I love to learn, play games (board and video), and anything that has my mind active.

One of my favorite topics to learn about is physics. I enjoy reading about each new discovery, the possible ways it may change our lives in the future and how much we still have left to learn. I was so excited when Curiosity landed on Mars. It makes me wish I was alive when we first went into space, and the whole nation was watching.

Also, I will be upfront about all of my geekdom. I love to play video games, play obscure boardgames and many other things involving fantasy and imagination. My mom says the Big Bang Theory cast was copied from me and my friends. I even recognized a board game they were playing in one episode!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I finally got a job that will lead to my desired career in computers and am loving it!!!!! I am currently working in IT with my ultimate goal is to get a job programming. I love my job and I look forward to going to work. It is such a great feeling to have.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Video games, making people laughing, explaining complicated concepts and cheering people up. I am also very good at listening and I guess being an optimist would be the word. It is very hard to get me down. If I am having an off day, I just look up at the sky and think about how small everything we know is, and makes all of my problems seems insignificant.

Oh yea, I am fantastic at making up stories from words given to me. My mind creates some very interesting stories.

Last but not least is debating. I love having a good argument with someone. Half the time I will just argue the other side. It is fun playing devil's advocate.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not sure, but I hear that I have great eyes. People also always like to point out that I'm skinny... like I had no idea. I enjoy being skinny though =P

I stopped reading for a long time, but am so glad to have gotten back into it. I have read The Hunger Games, Dragon Lance and various other books. I finished the Sword of Truth Series and it was the best book series I have read so far. I definitely recommend it. I have started Wheel of Time now and am currently on the second book.

I loooove horror movies, the creepier the better. Especially zombie movies, I can't get enough of those. Zombieland, Dawn of the Dead, and 28 Days Later are some of my favorites. I don't like horror movies that are just gore; they bore me. I need some plot, or something more than just people being hacked apart. I tend to like the supernatural ones more. Something about being unable to stop ghosts etc is terrifying!

I love watching comedies... I mean who doesn't like to laugh. But, no matter how old I get, I will always have a place for the Ace Ventura movies. I honestly don't think I will ever get tired of those movies.

Some of the shows I like are The Office, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Archer, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, and Breaking Bad. I also like to watch a lot of documentaries or anything that can educate me. Such as The Universe, Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, Mythbusters etc.

I am not a picky eater. I will try most things once. I used to hate seafood... but I love sushi now so I figure I should start trying seafood again. My favorite food may have to be a Gyro. I can never get tired of it.

My musical taste has changed tremendously over the past few years. I am into all kind of alternative rock. Some of the bands I love are Bastille, Metric, Vampire Weekend, New Politics, Mumford and Sons, Imagine Dragons and Grouplove to just name a few.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Computer
2. My Car
3. Friends
4. Family
5. GOOD FOOD!
6. Sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My life. I think a lot about where I want my life to be in 10 years. Where am I going to end up living? When will I buy a house? When will I get married?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Pretty much always hanging with my friends, whether we go out, or stay home and bullshit, it is always a blast.

One of my favorite weekend activities is to go see comedians. If you like to see comedians as well, we will get along juuuust fine.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am finally completely comfortable with who I am. It took a while but I finally did it. I would be what I thought people wanted me to be in order to fit in. No more pretending, I am going to just be my super geeky self. =]

What I am looking for in a relationship is just someone to share my life with. I want someone that will be excited for me even if she doesn't care what I am talking about. Someone who appreciates me for who I am and doesn't want to change me. I am not looking for hookups, I am looking for someone to hopefully start a long term relationship with.

She also needs a great sense of humor. I love to make jokes, and tease and poke fun.

Also, I feel like I have to add this, but don't message me if you are barely going to talk. I hate when they just ask "What's up? How are you?". Give me something to respond to. The same goes for reply messages, if you reply with no substance and with nothing for me to respond to, I am going to assume you aren't interested. It is OK to just say no thanks, I won't be offended.

You should message me because I am an awesome guy. :D
