My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Meagan.
Short Version: rock 'n roll loving kitty cat mama in East Nashville.

Long Version:
I moved into town about two years ago. I'm still in the market for some new friends or whatever else comes my way.

I'm pretty much just a huge music nerd. I'd be happy spending pretty much everyday just listening to albums, looking for new music, going to the record store and then going to hear a good band play. I try to make it out to a shows at least a few times a week. If you want to talk music, recommend a new band to me, or trade mix tapes, I'm pretty much always willing to listen.

Otherwise, I really enjoy learning. I'm interested in a pretty wide variety of things---history, culture, science, etc---and I get pretty excited when I learn something new. I read a lot; I think it's incredibly important to read as much as you can, and that kind of ties into my love of learning. I also read a pretty wide variety of things because I tend to pick up books at thrift stores and yard sales for next to nothing.

I can't remember the last time I was actually bored; there's so much music to listen to and so many books to read. Not to mention, there's always something worth doing in Nashville. I'm not sure I could have ended up in a city I would have loved more.

Besides listening to music and reading, I love to write. On top of the traditional stuff, I've had several blogs. I like to cook (not to mention eating). I love rainy days. I'm usually a night owl. I love to shop in thrift stores. I had a whole blog about thrift store outfits and how to shop second hand.

Rainy days are my favorite. If it's raining, I'm automatically happy. And, I have two cats, Gypsy and Jagger.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
listening to records. reading. writing. learning everything I can. laughing a whole lot. going to hear great bands play because there are like a million of them at my fingertips. dancing around. drinking coffee. hanging out with my kitty cats. thriftin'. cooking. baking. making stuff. organizing things cause sometimes I'm a little OCD. telling stories. and just takin' it all in.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making you think I'm actually not 4'11 by wearing humongous platforms.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

I read quite a bit. I'm always picking books up for 50 cents at Goodwill, so I read a pretty wide variety of things.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
music. books. animals. my family. rainy days. endless amounts of coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the future. the past. right now. what I want to do. how to convince people to do exciting things with me. which band am I going to hear tonight?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
going out or staying in. who knows. every night is friday night to me. Lots of nights I go to shows. On the off chance that I don't, I'm most likely cooking a good dinner and reading or listening to records. But that's pretty much any night. I love my life, but I'm ready to try some new things, meet some new people and have some new (exciting) experiences.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm weirded out by men in v-necks.
