but alas i am sitting here on okcupid writing yet another pointless journal. i could also be doing dishes or something else more productive. i guess the first final isnt until tuesday, so i feel like i can rant for a little bit.
1. why are people so self absorbed? really. i work in retail, and i swear to god, around 90 percent of the people are so self involved they make working sometime imbearable.other times extremly funny, but whatever. i think if people took the time to realize in fact the world does not revolve around them,more people would be in a better mood. im not saying that im not self absorbed at times, but i do try not to be.
2. what is up with the mustache. very few people can pull it off, yet so many men attepmt it. not attractive. one example.. this dude i used to have a huge crush on. now he has a mustache. not cute. people should refrain from them.
3. procrastination is an artform. i feel like i have perfected it. im sure i will do fine on my finals (i always do). why study now when i could be doing this?
4. kissing is a lost artform. dontcha just hate it when you feel like someone is gnawing your face off? i feel like people have ignored kissing just to get .. somewhere else. that is very unfortunate. i wish people would learn the artform again and take it more seriously.
5. the flight attendant on the episode of seinfeld im watching is the same woman who narrates the safety warning before star tours at disneyland.
6. i think scents are highly unappreciated. have you ever walked into a room after a candle has been burning and fully appreciated it's magnificent scent? i love it. i think we usually only notice when something smells bad. but fresh flowers and candles really add something to the atmosphere.
i guess thats enough for now. if you read this.. you must be as bored as i am. thanks.

it's true. it is bad enough that you tell me everyone who has looked at my profile at exactly what time, you now let me know while i'm online with an annoying little box that pops out of nowhere. stop. if i want to know, i'll go on my homescreen and take the 2 extra seconds it takes to look. i'm lazy, but not THAT lazy. and whats up with this quickmatch thing? what is the point? i guess if i did nothing all day i could sit around and read peoples profiles and then proceed to rate them, but i would prefer not to. and in addition to the someone just viewed your profile box, every two seconds another one pops up saying someone just did something on quickmatch that relates to you!! me: um.. ok. go away. stop telling me. i find these little boxes the most obnoxious part of this entire site which includes old people messaging me. i would prefer if they would go back to the old way and not have little pop up boxes. thats all.

why is it that nearly everyone on here describes themselves as laid back? is everyone lying? or is it that laid back people are single for a reason? or maybe laid back people are more likely to join an online dating website. i just find it interesting. i dont think everyone is laid back so just the fact that almost everyone who messages me or profile claims they are is slightly intriguing. just a thought.
