When I'm on the subway I like to watch people from behind my sunglasses or a book and tune in and out of their conversations. If I like something I hear, I write it down. I like to say that I'll put it in a novel someday (I write, but then again, doesn't everybody in this city?), but in reality I'll probably share it on Facebook or Reddit or laugh about it to myself.

I moved to the city in March. It was always something I had wanted to do, so I saved everything and made the move. Now I temp and enjoy what the city has to offer.

Amassing knowledge about obscure subjects (I'm a whiz at pub trivia); non sequiturs; laughing too loudly; making off-color comments; writing; overusing semicolons; bonding with cats (it's all about blinking); sitting in corners at parties and looking at people suspiciously

That I'm short and pale.

I'm constantly thinking. I think a lot about art, music, literature, politics, current events, my hair, your shoes, the weather, what we're going to have for dinner. My mind never stops, basically.

Having a quiet drink with friends, or else watching a movie, reading, or wasting time on the Internet.

I will never poop with the door open.
