I haven't updated my profile in over a year so I thought it was about time. I live outside of Salisbury, Maryland, way down Nanticoke road and into the boonies. The saving grace of living out 20 mins from town being cheap living. Also, I live with my best friend and his fiance in their house. That's pretty cool. Downside, nothing really goes on in this town, and I've yet to find any dating material. I used to live in a big city, and I imagine that I'll end up in one again sometime. I miss it occasionally, but I'd miss my friends more and they're pretty important to me.

I'm one of those quiet until I get to know you types. It's not that I'm shy... I just don't do a lot of idle chit chat. But if I've got some common interests I open right up. So what do I like hmmm, music and movies most definitely. I'm decently read, I've read a number of classics that I've forgotten over the years plus a large amount of scifi, fantasy, and cyberpunk books. I don't watch that much tv, I don't even have one. Only shows I'm following at the moment are Terminator: SCC, Battlestar Galactica, and Heroes.

A lot of my friends here are into gaming, that is roleplaying games, so I game a lot these days. I enjoy it, taking on another persona and imagining and experiencing fantastical people and events. I play Scion at Illusions in Salisbury on Wednesdays, Changeling: the Lost at random days of the week, and Exalted on Fridays that the majority of players can meet on.

I used to be into anime, but recent stuff hasn't interested me at all. I haven't seen anything new besides Hellsing Ultimate in years.

Similar thing has happened to me with video games, I just can't get into video games anymore. I love the Final Fantasy games, but I couldn't finish 12, I just lost interest in it. I guess I need short games that I can play in 30 min sessions. I also play WoW from time to time, my interest in that grows and wains too.

I worked as a Sys admin for a tech company before I moved to Salisbury, but turning my hobby of computers into a job really soured me on computers. I've done some odd jobs here and there, but I'm looking for something different now. I'll see what happens, I may end up back with computers.

According to my roommate, it's that I'm tall.

I listen to a wide range of stuff, but most is from the 80s and 90s. According to iTunes, my recently played bands are Fields of the Nephilim, Nobuo Uematsu (the Final Fantasy composer, I was listening to the FFX soundtrack), Scissor Sisters, Pitbull (I'm not normally into hiphop but a friend has been getting me to listen to some stuff), Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Pet Shop Boys, The Mission, Muse, Interpol, Katatonia, Cocteau Twins, Bush, Foo Fighters, The Clash, Sex Gang Children, Juno Reactor, and In Extremo. So, variety.

Some of my favorite movies are Apocalypse Now, The Godfather, V for Vendetta, Sweeney Todd, Superbad, 2001, The Shining, Mary Poppins (seriously, I love it), Once Upon a Time in Mexico, 300, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Grindhouse, and Mysterious Skin.

I used to read voratiously when I was younger, but not so much these days. I've recently read books by Hunter S Thompson and Kurt Vonnegut. Also World War Z, which was excellent. I'm a fan of China Mieville's Baslag books, and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files books. I love Tolkien's works. I also enjoyed the Harry Potter series immensely. I am a fan of William Gibson's work as well.

As far as food goes, there aren't many styles or ethnicities that I hate, and many that I love. Mexican (not Mexican't hehe) is probably my favorite. Second would be cajun. French, Italian, Lebanese, Greek, Indian, all good. Only things I really hate are mushrooms, and most seafood. I want to like seafood, it looks good and smells good. But I just don't like that seafood "flavor" if you know what I mean.

shit like this, for the most part. I did most of my deep thinking when I was a teen, thinking about the nature of the universe, self awareness, death, all that. I'm moderatly pagan, and I think about that, are the gods real? Maybe, maybe not. I'm perfectly willing to accept the idea that maybe it's all in my head. I've had a past life regression, and I wonder if that's real. Felt real, but impossible to say. Was I really a viking that froze to death, or a peasant that back talked to his lord and was cut down for it? I don't know but I like to think that I was, it's certainly pretty cool.
