Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Don't take it from me. Listen to the ladies:
I'm game for a boyfriend, don't get me wrong. But what I really
want is a dog. I guess there's a checkbox for that in the search
criteria. Also you need to have a convertible, and I feel like at
least the LA users should get a search option for that too.
If your profile pic is of you (pretending only) to make out with
your dog on the hood of your convertible, you can pick me up at
I'm just kidding about all of this.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Eating burritos, for one.
A little bit of everything. I've been called a renaissance man but
I don't know what that is or how to spell it. Political consulting
and real estate, but the non-douchey versions of both. My work has
taken me all over the place and I have met so many different kinds
of people. I've lived in some great cities, and at the end of the
day, here I am freeway!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Preheating the communal outdoor grill at my building for an hour
until it reaches 1000 degrees and then making wood-fired pizzas. I
like to think I'm saving the planet one delicious pizza at a time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am a very serious person who takes the world very seriously.

Squash blossom burritos at Huarache's in Highland Park. When I
lived in NYC, I used to have Asian food once a day. Non-snobby
farmer's markets trips. I'm a Jonathan Gold fan but I haven't yet
stooped to texting Good Food yet.
Summer concerts at the Greek & Hollywood Bowl, KCRW, and
silence. Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Goonies, Sneakers, Clue. I
had to stop her from screaming.
George Saunders, David Sedaris, Sarah Vowell. Sunset, New Yorker
(and sometimes US Weekly while in line at the grocery store).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On Grindr with everyone else. Hey bro, what are you into??
