I'm majoring in math, physics, and astronomy at the university of washington. I'm interested in studying quantum gravity / string theory.

Other things I like, computers, science, Harry Potter, MST3K, the new Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Firefly, Serenity (the movie!), and lots of other kinds of tv shows, books and movies. I also like Inuyasha, and Full Metal Alchemist, although most other anime just confuses me.

I am an atheist (i.e., a good scientist) please do not message me if you love God, or gods (well, maybe Satan is okay), because if you do, you're crazy. Also, I like people who have basic spelling and grammar skills. If you send me a message, and I can't understand it, I won't be asking for clarification.

You remember those RPGs where when you'd talk to people, their text would be randomly underlined or something?

Sometimes I pretend I'm arrogant, but that's just for fun. Although stupidity does annoy the hell out of me. That doesn't mean I'm not a goddamned genius, though.

People tell me I'm a nice person, although sometimes it takes me a while to make friends with people. I like spending time with my friends, and doing things like talking about physics, watching movies, or playing nerdy games!

Physics! I'm planning on doing more physics. Also, math, because math is cool, and you can do anything with math. And astronomy, because astronomy is bad-ass!

Physics! And math and astronomy! I'm also pretty good with computers. I am good at most things I try, although I am not too good at most sports things. I do like archery and shooting things with guns, though.

People who take time to get to know me, and aren't scared off by me liking physics also notice I'm a pretty nice guy, and like lots of cool things.

My favorite books are the Harry Potter books, the Lord of the Rings books, Contact, Ender's Game, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Halo novels (yeah, about the video game. Fuck you, they aren't stupid!), A Mote in God's Eye, and a bunch of others I'm forgetting about. Physics and math books can be good, too, but most of them are badly written.

Favorite movies are, obviously, the LOTR movies, Serenity (one of the awesomest movies ever), The DaVinchi Code, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Napoleon Dynamite, Star Wars, Star Trek, A Beautiful Mind, October Sky, Indiana Jones, Austin Powers, Monty Python's The Holy Grail, Airplane!, and lots of others.

I like music. My favorite bands are As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Breaking Benjamin, Evergreen Terrace, and System of a Down. Also sometimes video game music. There are a bunch of other bands I like, too, but these are the ones I listen to the most.

You're a cool person, who isn't going to be weird and ignore me just because I'm a physicist. You're a nice person. You aren't an asshole. You aren't an alcoholic, like most kids in college. You don't smoke--seriously, who, thousands of years ago, thought "hey, lets light this on fire, and then breathe it in!" You can make intellgent arguments in debates not based off of "I heard it on CNN," "this is what my teacher told me to believe," or "because GOD says so! It's in the Bible!!" You're not a spammer--if you are, I'll have to kill you in your sleep.
