A little about myself. Firstly, I hate talking about myself. A lot of people think I'm a jerk cause I don't talk a lot at first, but really I'm just shy and awkward. After knowing someone for a bit though, I'm the complete opposite.

I like playing video games, reading comics, listening to music and watching tv and movies. Pretty normal stuff. X-Men, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Mortal Kombat are my three loves. I like all kinds of music, but most of what I listen to can be categorized as some form of pop. I love J-Pop and I'm crazy obsessed with K-Pop currently. I can be a big dork. I like to dance like the white boy that I am and make random noises when I'm bored. I can always find ways to entertain myself.

INTP describes me pretty well. But none of those things are 100% accurate and I don't pay too much attention to them. But I get bored and take a lot of dumb quizzes online and get INTP every time.

I'm just looking for friends, not at all interested in hooking up.

Not sure. Just working a crap job and looking for something that sucks slightly less. Did some school. Never been a big fan. I'll go back eventually, when I can figure out what I want to do. 'Til then I'm just going to try to make some money and just live life.

I love David Sedaris. Everything he writes is hilarious and I was lucky enough to meet him when he came to Chicago in April 2010.
One of my favorite books is Miles From Nowhere by Nami Mun. She's a teacher at Columbia College in Chicago, but I met her during the short time I lived in Boston. It's a great book that I highly recommend.
The Boogiepop series from Japan is also really great. Unfortunately they have no plans of continuing to translate them =/. So there's only 4 in English.
I also like Dean Koontz' books. They're quick and exciting and good reads for when you're on the bus/train. My favorites are Intensity and The Face.

When it comes to movies I like horror, action and comedies mostly. Most of the time I watch movies to relax, so I don't want to think too much. But I do enjoy dramas, I just need to be in the mood for them. Some of my favorite movies are Clueless, Romy & Michele's High School Reunion, The House Bunny, X-Men First Class, The Avengers, The Craft, Jurassic Park, American Beauty, Mortal Kombat, Kill Bill 1&2, Sin City, Rent, Brides Maids, Mean Girls, Easy A, Resident Evil Series, Finding Nemo and Wild Things. Jean Claude Van Damme movies are a guilty pleasure of mine.

I do love tv. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite show. Dead Like Me and Ringer and two very short-lived shows that were great. Currently running shows I love are Nikita, Supernatural, True Blood, Family Guy, American Dad, Adventure Time, Regular Show, 2 Broke Girls, Glee and America's Next Top Model.
I also like some anime. Namely Boogiepop Phantom, Inuyasha, Azumanga Daioh, Darker Than Black and Rosario + Vampire.

I like a lot of music. Most of the music I listen to could fit into the pop category. Be it dance, rock, r&b or indie. I also love J-Pop and K-Pop. Some of my favorite artists are 2NE1, Utada Hikaru, Ke$ha, Lady GaGa, Ellie Goulding, Kelly Clarkson, Sara Bareilles, Garbage, Robyn, Liz Phair, Lissie, Ingrid Michaelson, Jenny Owen Youngs, Do As Infinity, Namie Amuro, Koda Kumi, Florence + The Machine, Marina & The Diamonds, 4minute, miss A and Girls' Generation.

I LOVE food! I love all kinds of food but Thai, Italian and Sushi are at the top. I can eat a lot more than people expect and I'll try pretty much anything.

Random crap. Normally nothing important. Just things to pass the time.

I don't think I have any typical days of the week. I may be out with friends, whether out at clubs are inside playing games or watching movies. I may be at home playing video games or watching tv. And sometimes I work Friday nights. I tend to play by ear and see what happens.

I've always wanted a tight group of friends similar to the Sex and the City girls, but less gay. =P
