My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Better a funny guy with a creepy picture than a creepy guy with a funny picture, right?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in IT and am working on my BSc in IT Engineering . I try to hit the gym twice a week to keep myself healthy. Of course these efforts tend not to help against my eating, smoking and drinking habits.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I think I'm quite creative (when it's about spontaneous outbursts of silly things). This means I like to talk about things that don't really matter and lead to new ideas/explanations about previously not well known issues/things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I guess it's my figure and that I wear glasses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books: 1984, Brave New World and some other books which I don't remember (I must admit that I currently don't read too much fiction). I tend to read a lot of stuff online (blogs, some newspapers, reddit) but I don't know if anybody really would put that in the 'books'-section.

movies: (small excerpt)
Mississippi Burning, Alien, Napoleon Dynamite, Terminator 2, The Big Lebowski, The Shining. Nowadays less and less blockbusters because I finally had the thought that stories and dialogs are important, too hmmkay.

shows: (small excerpt) X-Files, Dexter, Californication, Oz, That Mitchell And Webb Look, Peep Show, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Sledge Hammer, The Wire

music: I tend to focus more on rhythm and melodies than on lyrics. Probably that's why I mainly listen to electronic music. I'm open to almost every music genre (at least once). I also like old rock (Pink Floyd).
currently listening to:

food: I will try almost everything (once) except maybe bull testicles or snails. I have no favourite food.

I used to play first person shooters and real time strategy games. Nowadays I don't have that much time so I try out indie games once a while.
currently playing: Hotline Miami
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I think I could survive with the basics like water, food, shelter, minimal security. Maybe some human interaction would be also nice.

What I currently have and I am aware of (but this stuff is just 'nice to have'):
- Electricity
- Heating
- Fridge
- Fast Internet
- Television
- [continue listing 100's of other things that are considered 'essential' in our 'modern society' ;-)]
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
This is more a hope of mine: That the majority of people will be Atheist/Agnostic. I mean... come on... it's the 21st century!

How can I be a better person?

Will the technology advances lead to a dystopia or an utopia (if I look at the current use of drones, surveillance, etc... I'm not so sure).

Will we meet humanoid Aliens in the next few decades or will that never happen because such an advanced life form would not be interested in us due to our low complexity? (like humans don't try to communicate with amoebas because we don't consider amoebas intelligent enough)

If eternal life will be possible (by mind upload or whatever) and it wouldn't cost a lot would I do it ("who wants to live forever?") ?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
- at home, browsing reddit, watching a movie or playing games
- at my parent's place (visiting them)
- going out with friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

If somebody is religious (or superstitious in other ways) I tend to take them less seriously. I just think... how can a adult person (living in a 'civilized country' ) believe in a deity/higher being/god that is such an asshole and always tends to punish the poor, weak and children... Of course there are still things that are unexplainable but a lot of those will be explained in a few years, decades by science... Don't wait for your "next life" in heaven ... there is no heaven... use the actual life you have because when it's over you don't get another chance as you might think! Life is not a video game where you have 3 UPS !

I'm not a 100% rational robot. I sometimes play the lottery even though I know that the probability of winning the big money is practically zero.

I should sleep more.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Message me if you want to go out for a beer, fight me in some console games (I'm really bad in those games because I'm a pc gamer) , watch a movie or if you want to discuss anything with me. It is most probable that you can teach me something about your area of work/studies where I might have no knowledge about. And I like to learn new things. Especially when I get the information directly from experts.

Maybe you should avoid me if you are easily offended. I like to curse every now and then and if you only like 'clean language' we might have a problem.

Also message me if you are a singer/musician and would like to collaborate in some silly electronic music projects. I'd like to make some tracks with vocals/singing someday. I can provide links to some tracks.
