I am silly, geeky, and rather nice.

My Self-Summary

I am a geek. A geek of many things, mostly video games, it however spills over into tv, movies and just general geek/internet culture. I thoroughly enjoy it, I love that I and many other people get excited over the strangest and silliest little things, I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a slightly odd sense of humour that I personally find hilarious but this is not always the case with friends and such. Although they are sometimes entertained by it in other ways.

What I’m doing with my life

I am in a strange limbo at the mo, I have yet to have a "proper" job and currently don't have any sort of job. I'm at a loss as to exactly what I'd like to do with my life so at the moment I'm just attempting to get by and think alot. I'm not going to say it's going well, but it could be worse.

Just moved back to Edinburgh from Canterbury, trying to make an effort to be a bit more productive, still no idea what I actually want to do with myself but I'm trying to be a bit more active in the meantime.

I’m really good at

Mmm, I dunno, being stupid? In many senses of the word. I'm a pretty positive person for the most part and I try to pass that on as much as I can. Wether it just being making someone laugh or saying something reassuring. People focus on the negative too much sometimes, positivity is something I think is greatly needed by everyone.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm quiet. Or at least when I first meet someone. It's a bit of a curse of mine, I get especially shy and nervous around new people. I don't know why and I try not to but it often just makes me more nervous. However I tend to get comfortable with people I like quite quickly at which point you might have trouble shutting me up.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Sadly don't read much these days. Last books I read were 'Casino Royale' by Ian Fleming and 'Deception Point' by Dan Brown both of which I loved. Attempting to get back into the habit, but the bloody library has only gone and moved and I've no idea where it is. Lately I've been reading some video game books (cause I'm a nerd that way). Mostly Halo but I've got a Mass Effect one I'm just starting. I've also been getting into comics very slowly the last couple of years, a random mix of Xmen, Buffy related ones and just recently read some Walking Dead which is pretty cool.

TV: Lost, Firefly, 24, Scrubs, Futurama, Angel, Buffy, Battlestar Galactica, Friends, Jericho, House, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Coupling, Dexter, Avatar, Pushing Daisies, Freaks and Geeks I love me some TV, mostly american stuff as you can see. It's just soooooo good.

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Serenity, Goldeneye, Die Hard, Star Wars, Shuan Of The Dead, Leon, The Fifth Element, The Girl Next Door, Daredevil, Rush Hour, Garden State, Underworld, The Last Samurai, Equilibrium, Austin Powers 2, Terminator 2, Bad Boys, Disney

Games: Halo, Broken Sword, Knights of the old Republic, Mass Effect, Super Mario World, Half Life 2, Left 4 Dead, Tomb Raider: Legend, Burnout Paradise, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Dead Space, Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, Homeworld, Peggle, Bioshock, Crackdown, Persona 4, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Hotel Dusk,New Super Mario Bros

Music: Check here for a general idea, I like a big mix of stuff.

The six things I could never do without

My computer
My video games
My friends
The internet
My dog
Pepsi Max, heh

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything, I think far too much about far too many things. Wether it be myself and my past or the world and its future. Sounds a bit over the top I'm sure but hey it's true, my brain is a bit of a bastard that way.

On a typical Friday night I am

These days I'll be at home either on the computer or on my Xbox playing/chatting with friends. I'd rather do it in person but sadly everyone's a bit spread out these days. Thankfully we have this wonderful intermaweb thing to keep in contact.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
