My self-summary
My name is Randy. I am a theatre professional attempting to finish University coursework. I live alone on the border of the Washington Heights and Inwood neighborhoods of Upper Manhattan in New York City. I am a 22 year old masculine gay man seriously seeking a relationship with a guy: filled with love, companionship and everything else involved with the joys and hardships involved "in this thing called love."

I am looking for a guy in the NYC area, as I do not drive and will not learn to drive. Call me an old-fashioned romantic, but I feel that despite my age, I've had enough life experience to be mature enough to the handle rigors and joys of a long-term relationship. I also feel a great desire to settle down after finding the right guy for the rest of our lives. I pursue this endeavor believing that I will make the right match mutually with a man as a couple.

As for age, I am looking for someone close to my age. I am aware that guys ready to settle down like me may be older than I, but I do not discriminate; however I do not want to have too much of an age disparity. For example, I would not be too comfortable with a man who could be old as my father.

Also, I would like to find a guy who has the same sense of seriousness regarding having a relationship at this time in their life. At the same time, I would like my special someone, who isn't afraid to be a little adventurous and have a good time. Also, I seek a partner that will have a good sense of humor, because I enjoy intimate conversation and can be funny. Finally, as with all relationships, they are built on mutual respect, trust, hard work and love for one another and those are some of the most important aspects of I would want out of any relationship.

After a setback related to an accident sustained on a NYC Bus, the completion of my education and work on Broadway in the the theatre business, which is the vocation I am most passionate about is on hold. I should be back to school this fall. I have worked in various capacities at different ticket brokers on Broadway. I love the legitimate theatre business especially Broadway, and I try to see every show I can. I want to someday be a Broadway Producer and possibly Theatrical Attorney. Nevertheless, right now I am financially stable and expect for that remain so.

When I am with a guy I enjoy taking walks around NYC, talking and absorbing all of the cultural attractions this city has to offer. I live a across the street from Fort Tryon Park, which has the Cloisters, which houses the Medieval Art Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the New Leaf Cafe(that is perfect date: a walk in the park, museum visit and then brunch at the cafe!). I also enjoy taking in an artsy independent film. I find most of the films from the major studios to be garbage; however, there are exceptions, especially from Hollywood's Heyday. An MGM Musical starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers.

As I said earlier, one of the great things about living in New York City is that there is always something to do and cultural attractions are plentiful. At night, I love going with a guy to the theatre and seeing a great musical(or a riveting play) on Broadway, afterwards, we can have dinner and talk about the show. Then, after that we can go to a nice quite bar have a few drinks and talk some more and have a few laughs.

I love guys that can make me laugh and I am pretty good at reciprocating. I also would love to go to the ballet, opera, and symphony. I

I would do my best to take care of my partners needs and looking for gentleman who can do the same for me and I know that your out there, so please get in touch with me.

Beyond what I am seriously looking for in a man, while I wait, I am pleasantly willing to date men who find me desirable. Who knows? A few dates could turn into a relationship with the right guy. Also, I would like to make friends in my area.

Here are a few of the establishments I frequent:

"Cafe Edison" AKA "The Polish Tea Room" (W 47th St. Btw. 7-8th Ave.) is my favorite pre-theatre spot for Matzo Ball Soup and Brisket Sandwiches.

My favorite post-theatre restaurant is Joe Allen (W 46th Btw. 8th-9th Ave.) I love their meatloaf and mashed-potatoes.

For special occasions the filet mignon at" Chez Josphine" on W 42nd St. is magnificent.

When in the Village seeing a play, I love to frequent "Marie's Crisis" Whether I am belting a solo or in a big singing a chorus. It is nice to be in a place where we can all appreciate show tunes and sing late into the middle of the night. The place I know of to get a bite to eat is John's Pizzeria on Bleecker.

Some may notice from my profile that I am a bit of an old soul in that my tastes in music and film are that of classics, whose writers and performers may no longer be with us today, but I personally feel that their work shows I have acquired a mature and good taste, for the most part.
What I’m doing with my life
I enjoy show business. Specifically, I have a love affair with the legitimate theatre and nothing apotheosizes it more for me than Broadway. I am working to get the education and job training to be a Broadway Producer

Nevertheless, I also would be overjoyed working as a Theatrical Attorney, Broadway Press Agent, Casting Director, Tour Booker, Talent Agent/Theatrical Literary Agent, Group Sales Ticket Broker etc... There are so many other jobs in the theatre that I would love to do, but I would not be able to list them. All I know is that I want to be part of it all!
I’m really good at
I am really good at solving problems and disputes among others. I also am helpful with friends and try to do things that are in their best interest.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am very proud of myself physically, as I have struggled with being overweight all my life. When I was 17, I weighed over 400 lbs. and my mother agreed for me to have Lap Band surgery. After no success a second surgery was performed when I was an adult and still I did not loose weight. My surgeon was ready to do a Gastric Bypass Operation.

Then during August of 2009 I had a major collision, while standing on a bus and after the accident, the pain and associated medications caused me to loose well over 100 lbs. I now weigh around 170 lbs. I am very happy to say that I have a net loss of over 230 lbs. I went from waist size 54 to a size 36. (The biggest problem I have is always going shopping for smaller clothes and getting a new profile picture, I was over 200lbs there.)

I have a broad, football players build and I will always be a big framed guy. As for height I am about 5ft 10in. I have dark brown eyes, and I always wear glasses, except when I am in bed. I also have dark brown hair, it almost looks black, but it is not. I am Caucasian, with a very subtle olive tan. I am Jewish ethnically, but I don't practice the religion, but sometimes I enjoy the cultural aspects of it and the food!

On a typical Friday night I am
I am out in the Theatre District seeing a Broadway show, usually with a friend and then having dinner and drinks afterwards discussing the play or musical.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I get turned on by guys who wear crucifix pendants on their chains and the reason is because the boy who taught me about masturbation was wearing a crucifix, but believe me it is not a deal breaker.
