I am intuitive, hard to figure out, and tempting.

My Self-Summary

Rarely urban, although in camouflage can appear so. Difficult to see in forests. Tends to blend in with arctic "ruska" with flame-coloured hair and green things on.

Also: Sunnything with sudden changes of mood (Can turn into a goth when provoked...)

What I’m doing with my life

I mostly divide my life fairly equally between socialising in bars and playing strange variations of truth-or-dare with the management in expensive corporate settings in the role of a business consultant - or a spiritual coach - and a teacher of interaction, meditation and how-not-to-hit-your-co-worker-in-the-head-even-when-they-are-purposefully-annoying-the-hell-out-of-you.

The work related latter part includes nearly as many nights out but in fewer pubs.

I’m really good at

There actually are things that have occasionally gained me reasonable amounts of respect. I'm sure I'll be able to think of some in a moment...

I think it's people. Fairly good with them, mostly.

The first things people usually notice about me

My hair. It's red. Very. *ouch* Oh, ok orange, and stop biting my ear! And a fairly independent entity...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Lately my reading has been confined to those moments when secondary tasks like walking, waiting for a bus or attenting meetings keep only parts of me occupied and leave at least one hand and most of my attention free for someting more important. Namely reading. I have to work with my reading-while-washing-the-dishes-technique a bit more, though. If nothing is available, I read the lists of ingredients in milk cartons like everyone else.

As for movies, my stubborn refusal to let any TV's anywhere near my home has made most conversations beginning with "did you see the...[insert programme/film here]...yesterday" kind of useless. Mostly my friends get me to watch their favourite films only by threatening me with blunt instruments. My woeful ignorance having now been fully recorded, the last I watched without outside coercion: lotr extendeds, the best ever: Dead Poets Society or possibly Querelle.

And yes, the compulsory music question just had to be added, right? No getting around that one, is there? So fine, fine, it's mostly metal (the kind that actually has music in it), progressive rock, scandinavian folk and medieval stuff and mostly anything that never appears on MTV's prime time sessions.

And food's good too.

The six things I could never do without

The moments when you have gotten the fire going, it is so late that the midnight sun is touching the treetops only, making the colours deepen into strange shades, the coffee is about to boil and someone says "you know, I don't rightly recall what brought this to my mind, but I heard this story..."

That's at least four, right? Open fire, midnight sun, (moon will also do nicely), nights in the forest, stories... Strangely enough I can do without coffee even after all this time with drama people and geeks...

Oh yes. Geeks. People. Couldn't do without. Nor massage. (Or the other thing people do in various stages of undress, although it must be said it sometimes seems to be only a slightly diluted version of a really good, intimate massage...)
And I think I should add at least my mobile (Nokia N-Gage, I'm sorry to say), most of the books in the world (No, I don't think it is possible to read them all. Just to know they exist and do ones best..) and...

there's this thing with boys with long, flowing hair and this certain kind of smile... (Usually also somewhat younger than I am, since I very rarely tell my age and people don't usually believe me even if I do... *tries to look all innocent while having a most mischievous twinkle in her eyes and not really succeeding at all...* )

Six things, was it?

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably in front of my mirror having a serious discussion with my orange friend about whether it would finally suit it to be all set and done and on our way out or where ever it is our friends have seen fit to meet some hours ago...

You should message me if

You thought I might be worth sending a one-liner to just to see if the one-liner I would answer with would be worth maybe one more one-liner from your part...

Or you were looking for the shaumbra here in okcupid and wanted to say hi to each and every one of them :)
