Did you notice that the best things in life are rarely on the front shelf?

Take traveling for instance. The most authentic experiences and interesting places will probably not be in the front pages of your guidebook.
What about restaurants and bars? How come the best ones are hidden in small alleys, while the bad ones get all the attention?
Do you listen to the radio? Doesn't it feel like the best music is played when you are the only one awake to hear it?

I wonder if the same applies to dating. Maybe I should be looking for you in the hidden corners of the online dating world, rather than trying to meet you at a party or a bar.

I wonder.

I spend my weekdays in Jerusalem, where I'm managing the construction of a house i designed (I'm an architect). It's a modernist villa dressed in natural stone with a spectacular view of the Jerusalem Mountains, but god is in the details.

Most weekends I'm in Tel-Aviv. I love the lively urban feel of this city.

Movies: Tarantino, the Coen Brothers, Woody Allen and Aladdin- the Russian version. The best movies I enjoy more the second and third time I see them. If you understand why, I like you already.

Food: An Ethiopian place in Munich, where I was a loyal customer. Doesn't eating with your hands make the food better?

Books: mostly non-fiction books about stuff I'm interested in: anthropology, history, language, psychology, politics, evolution, entrepreneurship, design, architecture, photography and visual arts…

My dream trip is crossing Russia on the trans-Siberian railway, learn some Russian on the way and then hop on a ship to northern Japan to soak up some Japanese architecture. Are you in?
