I'm not really sure how to summarize myself. Just a person, like any other person, doing the best I can to get through each day. My disposition is pretty sunny and I am an optimist. I'm generally in a good mood. And I like to laugh and enjoy myself. I have a pretty good sense of humor. (Don’t like practical joke though)

I love animals. Dogs particularly. I am very family oriented and goal driven.

I have no interest in riding on the back of anyone’s motorcycle. I am not interested in a long distance relationship. (I consider anything 15 miles from my home long distance; I will not drive that far. Period.) Nor am I interested in travel. Making this really clear...I am not interested in travel..at all.

What do I like to do? I am still exploring that. Perhaps we can explore that together. Movies? Library? Museum? Work out at the Y? Dinner?

I am looking for a friend that might grow into something larger. A well read man that makes me laugh and smile. A man I can make laugh and smile too. Someone to do things with. Not extreme sports type things. Conversation, movies, dinner, things like that. A man who would enjoy having and being a companion.

I have my own place, my own income, my own car and my own life. I'm looking for a man who has his own too. So we can be independently dependant on each other. A mature, relaxed, easy, comfortable relationship.

Trying to get my new life in balance. Work, school, family and I'd really like to make a few friends.

I don't really know...I can: build a compuer; make a mouth watering pot roast with little carrots and potatoes; hang dry wall; do your taxes, sketch the dog in graphite; grow day lilies and green peppers; catch a trophy size bass; and a bunch more stuff. I'm sort of a Jill of all trades, master of none

If there is anything people notice about me they have never said. I'm really quite unremarkable.

My favorite books? Hmmmm I used to read a lot of SF. But now I am more into factual and self help books. Books on collecting. Of course the Bible is at the top of my list.

Movies I like comedies.

Foods. well I like just about anything but potatoe chips and chocolate top the list, (yeah I know I'm a real health food nut. hehehe). I can cook almost anything too. When I eat out I love to eat Asian or ethic cooking of some sort.

The Lord first and formost because its he who has made eveything possible. My kids because I love them so very. very much. My dogs because they bring me such joy and they need me. Family. Jobs.

Why its so hard to find friends my age, and where the eligible men my age are hanging out. LOL

Sitting at home, studying, cleaning house or watching TV.

That I am lonely and some times scared because as time passes I become more convinced that this is really all there is and the best times are past.
