My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Ryan. I've been described as "like Seth Rogen, but with better hair." also as "hipster chef." So make of that what you will.

So, I do(somehow, I don't get it either) have a girlfriend, and I'm not looking to cheat or leave her, but I love talking to people and making new friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
in school, studying information systems and working as a prep cook to pay the bills.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told that I make a damned good looking sandwich.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, I'm a biggish dude, so probably that. I've also heard people notice my glasses and my beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
OK, let's do a list!
1. books: anything by Haruki Murakami, Kurt Vonnegut, Bill Bryson, Ernest Hemingway or William Faulkner. I love classics, especially American lit, and other than medieval lit really can't stand brit lit.
2. Music: I love Indie rock, rock and roll, acoustic, anything, really. favorite artists include Iron and Wine, Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, Kaki King, Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground, Neutral Milk Hotel, Modest Mouse, The White Stripes, The Black Keys, The Beatles, Janis Joplin, Cream, Led Zeppelin.
3. Movies: I love movies. I'm open-minded, so long as they're well made. I like comedies, old school horror movies and cheesy sci-fi channel original movies.
4. TV: I'm a closet nerd, and this is where it shows. Dr. Who, the waking dead, star trek, firefly. Also, futurama, parks and recreation, the Daily show.
5. Food: I love food, and there's not much I won't try at least once. Pizza is probably my favorite food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
God, I wish I could write something zany and unique here, but truthfully, beyond the basics, my cell phone is really all I need.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My future. I'm in a career transition right now, so I think a lot about what I need to do now or in the near future to accomplish my goals.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Reading, watching movies or working on projects.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
nothing, really. I think my standards for privacy are probably so lax that anything I would consider private is wayyyy more than most people want to read about a stranger on the internet. that being said, I'll answer just about any questions asked of me.
