i enjoy...reading the paper while drinking coffee really early in the morning, traveling, running, casual dress, snowboarding, drinking decent beer, watching bad action movies on late night tv, wine and conversation, fall weather, eating things that are toasted, working on crossword puzzles i will never complete without the use of google.

movies: ground hog's day, white christmas, newsies, tremors, the emperor's new groove, the die hards, while you were sleeping, stranger than fiction, the philadelphia story, elf.

music: third eye blind, barenaked ladies, shakira, juanes, jack johnson, bonnie rait, toby lightman, flamenco, the eagles, guster, tasteless hiphop.

food: cheese, more cheese, cereal, tuna fish, olives, red peppers, avacados, bagels. true, i need to foray a bit more into actual cooking.

The six things I could never do without

sweatshirts. dictionary.com. meaningful relationships. heated car seats. hardwood floors. excitement over what the future might hold.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

what the heck i want/should do with the rest of my life. people and pets i care about. admittedly, i'm a worrier, so probably a ridiculous amount of inconsequential things, like if i hit "reply all" by accident. school stuff, work stuff.

On a typical Friday night I am

drinking. or writing papers. or both. or watching the hulu stockpile that has accumulated throughout the week. if not, out to dinner or drinks or some such with friends.

you have a way with selecting attractive combinations of paint colors -- i need to de-uglify my apartment walls. you seriously don't mind that, when i can get away with it, i'll wear the t-shirt i slept in out and about the next day.
