What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Left pharmacy school at the altar to elope with my English degree, but still work in a hospital pharmacy for the time being. Otherwise I'm checking things off my grad school bucket list, which is basically a notebook full of things I have to do before I can go back for more school.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing. I like to hope so, anyway. I'm also really good at laughing at things, if that makes any sense. I like to see the humor in things and go with the flow. I am very good at having adventures.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty short. Not, like, little people short, but I own a step stool that I use frequently. Oh, and my hair is red.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Neil Gaiman is my favorite author, but I read way too many books to list here. Some I've read recently are the A Song of Ice and Fire series, Jam by Yahtzee Croshaw, The Time Traveler's Wife (again) by Audrey Niffenegger, This Book is Full of Spiders by David Wong, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, and that new book by J.K. Rowling because I had to see if she could do books for grown-ups. That covers probably the last month or so; I go through book phases. I also read a lot of comic books.

Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is my favorite. I'm going to assume that whatever pops into my head right now is memorable to me, so: Wristcutters (A Love Story), Harold and Maude, Titanic (don't judge me), Garden State, The Princess Bride. If you're wondering why these are all about relationships, I think it might have something to do with me being on a dating site. I do watch other kinds of movies. Lots of them. And superhero movies, since there are a ton of those out right now.

Shows: Firefly, Dollhouse, Doctor Who, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Supernatural, Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies, Torchwood, Scrubs. There are probably more.

Music: Don't ask, it would break your heart. I have terrible taste in music.

Food: I have a gigantic love for sushi. It is my favorite food in the entire world.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no specific order: a working car, books, my family/friends (they're kinda the same thing at this point), blankets, rain, and caffeine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Books! I love to read, and I do so a lot. So whether it's reading or writing or how mad I am at Hollywood for ruining things I like, books are usually on my mind in some way, shape, or form.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I don't actually know. Might make a chart and find what my most common activity is on Fridays, then post it here.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't hide very much.
