I have unusual interests - I like art, DIY, Before & After blogs, I'm addicted to documentaries on Youtube, PBS, etc. I just spent a week in New York City at a Robert Holden event trying to define/redefine the true meaning of success. I'm a big fan of the Physicist Thomas Campbell and his My Big Toe book - I find his theory very interesting. It's a little bit new-agey, but grounded in science.

Despite these rather esoteric interests, I AM pretty normal!
I can talk to just about anyone. I love connecting with people and conversation is important to me.

I've got a great sense of humor and finding someone to laugh with is very important. To find someone who you could laugh about anything and everything with – I can’t imagine anything better.

After 8 years working for other designers, I have finally flown the nest and started my own business. I have officially been self-employed for a year and a half. Despite it being stressful and consuming at times, I've learned a ton about business and about myself. I don't think I could go back to a stable job at this point.

Making people laugh, getting stuff done, having fun, loving people, squeezing the life out of a dime.

I'm usually home...I am definitely a homebody and can get lost in a world of design, cleaning, craftiness. I do have some great friends that get me out on occasion, but left to my own devices, I opt for being at home...which, honestly, is probably why I am still single.
