I enjoy good music, great conversation, tasty beer, crossword puzzles/scrabble, and walking as a mode of transportation whenever possible. I make cartoons for a living. I will never write 'u' in place of 'you', or put an '8' in the middle of a word. Religion is not for me, but on Sundays I listen to my favorite preachers anyway: Fathers Bill Hicks, George Carlin and Mitch Hedberg. I like music and movies that challenge my perception.

Freelance animation for film/tv/web. I'm a transplant from MN, but somehow I've already been out here for 12 years (holy crap!) so LA is definitely "home" now. I'm a night owl; if I see the sun rise, it's because I'm still up. Always striving for the next challenge, having new experiences and thinking outside my head. I may be a reclusive-artist-type, but I still get out to concerts/bars/museums frequently.

Anything by Hunter S. Thompson, Palahniuk, Vonnegut, Carlton Melick III... and while its cool to see Walking Dead and Watchmen visualized on screen (and I enjoy both), the graphic novels destroy their counterparts in terms of pacing, nuance, themes and characterization. I'm reading the fuck out of Game of Thrones right now, I was hoping to be caught up to where the new season is about to pick up, but I'm already nearly done with book 4...
