My Self-Summary

I am a transplant to Chicago. The important things about me are I am a loyal friend and will support you in your choices and endeavors. I am like getting out, meet people, having fun and maybe hoping to find new friends and someone special to spend time with. I love laughing, I love scary movies, I love comedy, I like the water, and sometimes my weekends can be full of doing things or just relaxing - depending on my mood. Something I like about Chicago - being able to walk places, relatively always get a cab in my neighborhood, that there is a wide variety of restaurants that deliver, and places that entertain me are really never that far.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently in the healthcare field - I am a physical therapist. I like my job. I have been working with people in hospital since I was a teenager. My mother was in administration and fostered a very caring nature in me. I am thinking about taking the MCAT and going to med school to be able to do more to help people and make them feel better.

I’m really good at

Hmmm. I am a good cook. I have a tendency to make up my recipes and they seem to work out 85-90% of the time. There are always those one that just sounded good at the time but don't work out. I am also really good at calming people down - I have a tendency to put people at ease and make them relax. I listen well and empathize. I have been told that my laugh is infectious and you can't help but smile. I am also good at other stuff but you need to get to know me to find outthe really good stuff.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Eat, pray, love - this book changed my life. I am currently reading Revolutionary Road. My favorite movie - this is tough because I do not look at movies that way. Movies I have seen more than once would include Kill Bill, Sabrina, Mrs. Parker and the vicious circle, the Saw movies, bound, Marley & me, love & other disasters, dangerous beauty, lucky slevin, the last kiss, there are many more but I am blocking at the moment.
TV- Dexter, californication, weeds, supernatural, ghostwhisper, medium, house, glee, dr. G medical examiner, trauma in the ER, animal planet, discovery.
Music - I am a Dave Matthews Fan, Ani Difranco, Melissa Ferrick, but I also like Classical (having grown up playing many instruments). When it comes to music i have an appreciation for most. And when it comes to food - Chinese, Mexican, Thai, and occasionally cuddling up with some Coldstone ice cream that contains peanut butter and chocolate.

The six things I could never do without

My computer, my phone, a great mattress, a heating blanket, love, and good food. I would also like to add company and laughter as a very good runner-ups.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Where I want my life to be, the future, what will be. I would like someone to come home to, and whatever other blessings out there that belong to me.

On a typical Friday night I am

I am either out with friends eating good food, singing karaoke, or dancing the night away or cuddling up on the couch watching Ghost Whisper and talking on the phone.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
