My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well I'm a bit of a geek & I have concluded that it's better to embrace it rather than to suppress who I am.

I'm laid back & relaxed, a good listener, apparently give the best hugs. I'm easy to get along with, loyal to a fault, have a strange sense of humor and I'm a font of useless information.

I've recently started studying a deploma of Information Technology.

I have 2 little girls who mean the world to me & who I like to spend as much time with as I can. They live with their mother, and they stay overnight once a fortnight.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
When I'm not spending time with my children; I'm looking for a new job (I hate being unemployed). other then that... I don't do much.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told that I give the best hugs, I'm a good listener & extremely patient. I'm good at getting lost when following maps but I always find my way to where I'm going. I'm also clumsy so I'm really good at unintentionally making a fool of myself.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well I'm a bit of a quiet one & have an ability to blend into the background which is unusual for someone of my size. Normally people don't notice me until I say something.

Other then the fright that they get when I let them know that I'm there; I suppose it would have to be my eyes. ^_^ (well they are more likely thinking Holly S#@! He has just appeared out of fat air!!!)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett, The Dresden files series by Jim Butcher, The Tails of the Otori Clan trilogy by Leann Hern, The Vampire series by Ann Rice, The Freedom series by Anne McCaffrey. Too many to list them all; I move onto a new one every few days.

Movies - Tron (original), Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Conan the Barbarian, Run Fat Boy Run, Hot Fuzz, ET, Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back, Amily, Taxi (original french version), Powder, Highlander, Serenity, The Emperors' New Groove, Ghost In The Shell, Origin, The Cat Returns, Graveyard of the Fireflies, Tales of Earthsea, V, Enemy Mine, The Life Of Brian, and many more.

TV Shows - The Big Bang Theory, Scrubs, House MD, Chuck, The I.T Crowd, Warehouse 13, Eureka, All sorts of anime, Serenity, The Dollhouse, Outsourced, Braking In, Braking Bad, True Blood, Dexter, Rome, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Universe, Enterprise, Veronica Mars, Dr Who (2006 to current), Leverage, etc.

Music - I'm into all sorts of music with the exception of boy bands.

Food - well I like all sorts of food which you can probably tell from my size; but I would have to say that my favorite foods would have to be Potjiekos, Sushi & Coffee (even though it's a beverage it covers more then 1 food group).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
#1, My children

#2, My friends.

#3, A tech gadget like my iPad (I'm a geek; I need something to play with :-p)

#4, The internet

#5, Coffee

#6, Books of all sorts (My iPad comes in handy for this)

So when it comes down to it; all I need in life is my children, the internet & a Star Treck style replicator to provide everything that I will ever need lol

Why do so many people put "OXYGEN" as one of their 6 things...I mean of course we need oxygen, Unless the alveoli in our lungs stop metabolising oxygen and start metabolising something else; I vote for ethoxyethane, we'll need stay away from ignition sources & peroxide so that we don't have deposits of explosive diethyl ether peroxide forming around our mouths, nostrils, ears & eyes (My tears are a contact explosive when dry T_T), better go and prepare a breathing apparatus with a plate of butylated hydroxytoluene in it... then we can breathe without going BOOM!!!

Sorry about the rant, I can be quite random at times.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to do next to make the most of the time I spend with my children. What the best way to meet new people would be. How to improve myself; I know... I know, quit smoking & loose weight. The mysteries of the universe. What to write on sites like this...

I also have random thoughts like pondering what’s an aubergine (Yes I now know that it's what people in the UK call an eggplant).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Chilling on my couch (well I say couch but I really mean bed as I live in a studio apartment), or hanging out with other nerds.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no inner mono-loge and am a bit socially inept which causes me to put my foot in it more often then not, especially with new people so I tend to spend a lot of time not talking.
