My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
well I've been putting this off forever, I would rather have someone else tell you about me, that would probably be more valid. How do I convince the reader how incredible(yet humble) I truly am? This also makes me contemplate the nature of identity, where does the reality lie? The man I think I am? The man I aspire to be? or the person others see me as? Somewhere in the middle I suppose. Well I love music and reading. I like to cook, and am somewhat of a homebody these days. I have a somewhat non-traditional job, which offers me a great deal of freedom. I feel that I am middle-of-the-road politically, yet I have been called a pinko liberal by some, I favor science over myth and hysteria. I don't know if there is a god or not, but I live my life in a way that will allow me to look him in the eye if he does indeed exist. I am a pop-culture junkie, I reference movies and shows that nobody remembers,(or has even seen) and am a sarcastic S.O.B. I think I have a great sense of humor, and I don't take myself too seriously. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I think I am fairly smart, and can discuss most topics intelligently. I can also admit when I am wrong, or don't know. I try to treat others the way I expect to be treated, to keep my word, and to ultimately be a decent human.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Not a ton, working, going to shows, enjoying the simple things:books, food, and music. I am pretty content with my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Snappy comebacks, practical jokes...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well,I've been told I look intimidating, I don't really agree, but thats what I hear.

books:the beats, espesially Kerouac and Hunke, Hunter S. Thompson, Bukowski, Tom Robbins, Thomas Wolfe....I like biographies, natural science, some history, and lately I've developed a facination with advanced mathematics, especially fractal geometry.Oh yeah, Nick Hornsby's good too.
Movies: True Romance, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Quills, Monty Python(series and films), Clockwork Orange and everything else by Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, Tarintino, and Scorcese.I tend to watch films critically, that is to say I am aware of how they are put together, sets, lighting, camera angles etc.
Shows:I love History,Discovery, and the Science channels. I 'm into The Kids in the Hall, Mr. Show, Greg the Bunny,Freaks and Geeks, and the best show on TV: Breaking Bad.
Music: I like it all! Any list I make will be incomplete, and it will be different than one I wrote yesterday, but here's an idea: Iggy&the Stooges,Kinks, Ramones, Johnny Cash, Johnny Thunders, Merle Haggard, Bela Fleck,Supersuckers, John Coltrane, Frank Zappa, Neil Young, Replacements, Candy Snatchers, Beat Farmers, Figgs, Bowie, X, Black Diamond Heavies, Clash, Deke Dickerson, Cramps, Ray Charles, James Brown, Mudhoney, Willie Nelson, Charles Mingus, I could go on like this for a long time, you get the idea.
Food: I will try almost anything, I am an adventurous eater. I enjoy Mexican and Indian food. I like to cook, and often try out new recipies.
Artists: I collect Frank Kozik, Derek Hess, Mark Armanski, (And am trying for)Shepard Fairey prints. Shepard(OBEY) is one of my favorite artists, as is Robert Williams,de Chirico, Rene' Margritte, Dali of course, Marcel Duchamp, Art Nouveau, the Renaissance, and much of the current "Lowbrow movement"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
books
records
the comforts of home
electricity
fresh food
thats only five but thats about it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
politics, the nature and origins of the universe, and the blind acceptance, and rejection of knowledge inherent in some tenets of religion.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
If I am not working, odds are good I am at home. I have no set schedule, so fridays are not a big deal to me. I will go out to see bands, but they rarely seem to fall on fridays anymore, they always seem to be on saturdays, or midweek/
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
