My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey! I'm Raymundo! Or Ray if you're into monosyllabic nicknames. Or MexRay if you play SSBM competitively.

I'm a pretty simple guy. If we have the same interests, I probably won't stop talking. If we don't, we won't be talking for very long. I can't do small talk for some weird reason, but I'm trying to get better at it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently trying to pay off loans and get my head back on straight after getting wrecked by physics at MIT. I'll go back to school one day and study something that's not quite intense as physics. However, that gives me the chance to do other things like actually be healthy and happy and not stressed out all the time, which is nice.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing guitar
Playing video games
Math
Writing music
Used to be good at skateboarding, and I'm thinking about taking that up again.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Some people say I have a nice smile.
People always rave about my eyelashes, but nothing about my eyes.
I can have a rather crude sense of humor at times. My brain-to-mouth filter is a little faulty at times.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
TV shows: South Park, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Modern Family, Arrested Development, Firefly, Gurren Lagann. Basically, a decent mixture of shows ranging from dramas to animes. As long as it's well made and has a good story and interesting characters, there's a good chance I'll like it.

Movies: American Beauty, Clerks, Stranger than Fiction, Pulp Fiction, This is Spinal Tap, School of Rock, Fight Club. Same criteria as above.

Books: Ender's Game, Grapes of Wrath, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Artemis Fowl, Confederacy of Dunces, Watchmen, V for Vendetta, my physics textbooks.

Music: Metal (Metallica, Pantera, Slayer), classic rock (CCR, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult), underground and old-school rap (Wu-Tang Clan, NWA, Immortal Technique), classical music (Bach, Holst, Haydn, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven), mashups.

Food: Basically, anything home-cooked (which is the only reason why I'm a half decent cook). Seriously, if you know how to cook something that I don't and it's delicious, I will love you for eternity. Or you can just buy me in-n-out and you'll get the same result.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Seriously, I can't live without my smartphone. If I could attach it to my nervous system via USB cable, I would. Same goes for my laptop.

I need my guitars.

Video games are also a pretty big deal in my life.

My physics textbooks. I always pop them open from time to time, because they're quite interesting.

A good bottle of whiskey.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How wonderful the universe is. Seriously. Just go outside and marvel at how beautiful everything around us is.

Physics. Just... Physics. Quantum mechanics is some trippy shit. Just look up the double slit experiment, and quantum entanglement, and quantum computing, and... I'll stop here, because if I don't, I don't know when I'll stop.

Basically, if it's at all nerdy or related to technology or science, there's a good chance I'm thinking about it or will be thinking about it in the near future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Honestly, I don't have a typical Friday night. It could anything from playing in a video game tournament to downing half a bottle of whiskey at a party and making horrible jokes.
