My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
… will constantly be fixed and mended ...

Calm and collected, sometimes perhaps a tiny bit reserved (often misinterpreted as being shy), thoughtful, nerdy with a love for escapism into fictional worlds, nature- and animal-enthusiast in general.

Graduated and working now at university (humanities), trying to write my PhD thesis and survive at the same time. Not easy, but also not impossible.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Oh, don't puzzle me! Wasting time, most probably. Enjoying moments, trying to learn a lot, though most times not the 'useful' stuff, and to be creative (without aspiring to create 'art').
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...being modest. ;)
I'm fairly good at drawing and painting.
I'm good at not taking the serious stuff too serious, making up 'what if-scenarios' and outrageous metaphors. I'm rather good at analyzing and interpreting things. But most times I simply enjoy stories, fiction and interesting conversation without any improper dissection, I'm pretty good at that.
I'm really good at writing very long sentences.
I'm good at digressing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Red hair – that's it. It's the first and most noticed thing about me. I'd love to say 'my dashing personality', but the red hair overshadows it easily, so I'm careful with claiming that.
At second glance though some people might notice stupid puns, lame jokes and a slight tendency to harmless cynicism.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm pretty much into Japanese comics, series and movies with real or animated people and video games, music as well as Japanese cuisine - but not exclusively. Still, very often it turns out that Japanese things take #1 positions.

Just some non-hierarchical, random picks out of my list of 'favourites', mixed and mangled in wild confusion:

Memories of Matsuko, Survive Style, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, Lady Vengeance, Wes Anderson, Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Spaced, IT-Crowd, Black Books, Honey and Clover, Cowboy Bebop, Mushi-shi, Sherlock, Freaks and Geeks, Breaking Bad, Lost, Firefly, movies by Satoshi Kon and Hayao Miyazaki, Watchmen, Fun Home, The Arrival, Not Simple, The Last of Us, GTA IV, GTA V, Tristram Shandy, Sensei no kaban, Fabian, Ookami, some Final Fantasies, Zelda, Naoki Urasawa, Inio Asano, Yoshitaka Amano, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Suneohair, Joe Hisaishi, Yoko Kanno, Takashi Amano

No more senseless listing!

Spitz, Miyavi, Buck Tick, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Mumford and Sons (hooray for the banjo!), Arcade Fire, Placebo, Madrugada...

I could go on and pretend to know things I barely started with or heard of...bands I only know a handful of songs of, but who look great in a profile...
...but not today.

Sisters of Mercy, Robert Johnson, The Doors
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I can't really think of any 'things', apart from persons and pets which I would not consider to be 'things' as well as abstract concepts like 'love', 'friendship', 'health' blabla &c. &c. the-whole-rubbish.
I think given the fitting circumstances I could perhaps adapt to many situations in which things I hold dear now are just not available. Right now I practically 'need' a car to get around. I guess I need some space and nature surrounding me, but I also need quick access to urban areas. Living alone, and cooking for myself, I need a fridge. I have the feeling I need stories - films, (comic) books, videogames (with a story! A beginning and an end, please! No endless open-world mmorpg, no sportsgames, no partygames, no beat'em ups - not for me, at least) and conversation, cigarettes - just being realistic here, sorry, I don't smoke like crazy! Only if I'm really really really nervous ;) Anyway, I still don't think, smoking is the epitome of evilness.
... and music!

Ok, re-reading this I realize: I am totally bad at this. Six things: Pen, paper, eraser...eh...shoes, pants, shirt.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fictional stories I love, people I love, interrelations – of several kinds, between people, natural things, cultural things and why people behave how they behave, why I behave how I behave and 'what that was all about', horses (no worries, I keep that to myself).
...and what to wear.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either: devotedly cooking something I like, watching one or two episodes of a tv-series and/or playing a video game I'm currently playing, ending at my drawing table, doodling, drinking a glass of wine, smoking a few cigarettes, listening to music
Or: doing mostly the same minus the drawing and the smoking with one or more friends.
… on Saturday nights though, I like going out for a dance into a club or meeting friends in bars - or having a picnic in the woods.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
See above. That's private enough for the start.

Oh, wait: I know something! I tend to double-check my mails and texts nerdily. So, if you find any spellign mistakes (got you there!) let me know!
Another private fact (because I love putting my quirks on the table - who doesn't!?): When sitting at my computer I often wear the headphones shown above without listening to any music because I simply forget to turn it on, absorbed... in the www.
I’m looking for

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
...you're (positively) curious and feel the urge to comment on the stuff I wrote above and
...you're not annoyed of a bit of escapism – and dyed hair.
...you're openminded and openhearted and like me easily exhausted and bored by endless smalltalk.
...you're a looker (Fie! Shallowness! I'm shocked and flabbergasted!)

And if you find any spelling mistakes. :)
