For books it's mostly fantasy. Raymond E. Feist, Brent Weeks and
Patrick Rothfuss are my favourites. Oliver Sacks is fascinating.
And of course Douglas Adams. I've got a stack of books to read now
but I'm finding the internet very distracting lately.
For Music, mostly Stoner Rock, Metal, Industrial. Metallica,
Pantera, NIN, Clutch, Red Fang, Steel Panther, etc. Throw in a bit
of Jazz, a very small amount of Country, or even psytrance, then
you have an idea of what my collection looks like.
I tend to watch a lot of TV, it's cheap and hard to find movies
that I like. Recent highlights include: Adventure Time, a lot of
stuff from Adult Swim, How It's Made, Anthony Bourdain (his stuff
inspired me to travel), Mad Men, Game of Thrones.
Movies... Top of the list are things like Everything Must Go, Tiny
Furniture, Fight Club, Adventureland, Seven Psychopaths, Wrong.
Bottom of the list are forced explanations (see: Matrix Reloaded,
new Total Recall, Hunger Games, who keeps employing these terrible
Food, well, place me anywhere between Singapore and Bangkok and
I'll never go hungry. Nasi Goreng and random market food. My
favourite eats have been from South East Asian markets just
pointing at random things. So far I haven't discovered London to be
good in this department.
