Hmmm, what to say about myself...

I've been living in southern california for most of my life. (4th grade) Prior to that I lived up in a little town in central california near Monterey. We used to go to the beach/cannery row all the time, and have so many fond memories of that place. I think they still have the best seafood up there. :)

My family is still in So Cal, and am pretty close with them. They're outdoorsy (like me), so we go on trips up into the mountains or out to the desert and fun things like that.

I went to burning man this year and had an incredible time there. I think I'm hooked... :)

In the winter I love snowboarding and usually make several trips up to the local mountains. During the summer I usually spend my free time mountain biking or road biking, with the occasional road trip/camping trip thrown in. Kayaking is fun too. I have an ocean kayak that is fun to take out and go cruising around PV. You can see all sorts of fish out there.

I love to travel, but haven't been a whole lot of places outside of the US. I've been to the Caribbean several times, and Europe and Japan. I think Japan was my favorite of all the places I've been. It was really funny watching everyone stare at my dad when we were there (he's even taller than I am)

I enjoy going to live concerts too. The groups I like tend to have a bit of a strange twist to them, such as Primus, Busta Rhymes, Mr Bungle... Hmm, way too many to list here. :) Lately I've been listening to alot of techno type stuff, but I'll listen to just about anything. Especially alt rock type music, or more "eclectic" groups.

I'm an engineer. :) I get every other friday off, so I'm absolutely loving that, hehe. (It's amazing how spoiled you get though, "you mean I have to work FIVE days this week???" :) )

When I'm not out on some adventure I'm usually down at the beach hanging out with friends.

I'm pretty tall so maybe that? Or green eyes? I also tend to smile alot, so that's another possibility. I dunno, you tell me! :D

Movies: Office Space, Fight Club, Harold and Kumar (1 and 2), Lawrence of Arabia, Aliens, Terminator 1 and 2, Kill Bill, Bad Santa, hmm... I love movies, so there's a huge list of ones I like. :)

Music: Deadmau5, Meat Beat Manifesto, Armin Van Buuren, Thievery Corporation, Busta Rhymes, Bob Marley, Elephant Man, Boards of Canada, Primus, Metallica, Mastodon, Bassnectar, 16 bit, burial, infected mushroom, the Bug... Too many to list!

Food: I love spicy food! I love Thai, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, as well as plain old American food. Most of the time I enjoy eating at hole in the wall places, but I also like going out to fancier restaurants, if the food is good. :)

Well, if it's one of my days off, I could be almost anywhere... A normal one, I'd most likely be at home, or hanging out with friends.

We have something in common, and have an open mind and good attitude about life.

I think what I'm looking for most in a woman is someone intelligent, and who has an open mind and curious spirit. I'm not looking for someone that has the exact same interests as I do, but hopefully there's a few things that overlap between us. That always makes things more interesting when you can share new experiences with one another.
