My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I consider myself a really urban person and love living in Los Angeles. It offers me so many things to keep myself entertained, in particular food, music and film. I love to try new restaurants and I love to travel, and have been known to fly across the country just to have dinner. I lean a little arty, but outwardly appear pretty middle of the road. I'm looking to date with an eye towards something more serious.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as a video editor. It's a third, or maybe even 4th career now, but it suits me really well. I love my work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
organizing things and understanding spatial relations. You think all those suitcases won't fit in the trunk? I've got it covered! I'm also really good at finding some new fun thing (usually having to do with food) to go try out. I seem to know a little about a lot.
The first things people usually notice about me

Not sure I sense a common thread here. Maybe my height?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love music and try to go to as many shows as possible. Probably once a month I see someone live. I love electronic and indy rock. My favorite bands are Radiohead, Groove Armada, The Chemical Brothers, Miike Snow, M83, Fourtet, Kate Bush... the list is long.

I love to see foreign and independent movies. And I have no problem seeing heavy films. I'm not much for the latest romantic comedy or big hollywood action film. I'm one of those people who enjoy being challenged at the theater. My favorite movie of 2011 had no dialogue, and was about a goat-herder, a goat, a tree and some charcoal. Prepare yourself! lol

I don't read as much as I would like as I fin it difficult to slow down and take the time, but when I do I love futuristic philosophical and anthropological stuff. Ursula K. Leguin, Mary Doria Russell, Arthur C. Clarke and Vernor Vinge are some of my favorite authors.

When it comes to food I'll eat anything. I love to try new stuff and new restaurants. I love eating at mom and pop type shops and at higher end establishments. Driving 45 minutes for dinner sounds like a fun Saturday night adventure to me.
