I'm a business owner and musician. My business is based in East Nashville and has been in the family for over 50 years. For 2 years I lived in a small village in Costa Rica, so I speak Spanish, love beans and rice (who doesn't?), and can tell a few scorpion horror stories.

I love to play music (I write and sing for my band), go running, check out concerts, cook, hike, watch football and basketball (especially UNC, where I went to school), and get a drink outside.

Exploring Nashville, running a business, making music, seeing the world. I just started Portuguese classes, and I'm hoping to go to Brazil soon.

Eating Mexican food, spotting animals on hikes, coming up with ideas. I started a village bank in Costa Rica, so I'm good at financial analysis and decisions.

My favorite book is Captain Corelli's Mandolin, followed by any other Louis de Bernieres book. I also like Jonathan Safran Foer, the Walking Drum, and non fiction, especially about poverty, the environment, and Latin America.
