My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, my name is Robbie and I currently live in Portland, ME. I created this profile as a way to expand my horizons.

I have a brother with special needs and a lot of my time is spent with him. (My picture is of him and I, I'm the one on the left).

I've recently gained an affinity for disc golf and would love to go playing with you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just finished college and now I'm starting the next stage in my life. I just started a career as an electrical engineer at an architectural, engineering and planning firm in Portland and plan on sticking with that for the foreseeable future.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm pretty good at wrapping my head around complex problems. Also I'm rather good at blurting out random lyrics from songs or movies that fit, or at least sometimes fit, the situations.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a larger gent. That and people have oddly commented me on my eyelashes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I am a large fan of comedy and a good sense of humor is always important. I like a lot of Mel Brooks movies as well as science fiction, action, typical guy stuff.

TV shows: Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, Game of Thrones. All in all though I'm not of a TV watcher.

Books: I don't really read, in the classic sense, for pleasure but have recently found the wonder that is Audible and I find listening to books to be much better. I mostly enjoy sci-fi and some of the most recent books I've listened to are:

Life of Tao
Death of Tao
Enders Game
Speaker for the Dead
Hyperion Cantos
Pandora's Star
Many, many more. Ask me about them.

Music: Pretty much anything that fits the mood. Except Janis Joplin. Janis Joplin never fits the mood.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends, family, internet, computer, music and air (breathing is important).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Our existence in this universe and what it would be like to have a giant pet robot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at a bar with friends or at home with friends but those are just current trends and I'm really open for anything.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried at the end of Toy Story 3. Not my proudest moment.
