Hey everyone. I've never been good at these wrap up an entire person in a paragraph things, but here goes anyway. I would say I am a really engaged and passionate person. I love to learn new things, have new experiences, and really fall in love with what I do. I'm a complete nerd in the engineering/science sense and love that I get to do what I do. I try and keep my life filled with laughter, and even if there are tears, keep them at bay (although I often fail at this). Keep it light, keep it awesome, keep it filled with laughter

Currently a senior in aerospace engineering in Cambridge. Planning on staying for my PhD, with a focus in jet engines! I am trying to experience new things and meet lots of new people.

making people smile and listening/giving advice. If my advice doesn't work out, I resort to cooking oodles of delicious food for them and stuffing them to the point of food coma :D

Not really sure about this one...hopefully that they think I'm awesome? No clue!

Books: Cyberpunk in general (Stephenson, Richard K Morgan etc), Asimov, Michael Crichton, John Grisham, Paul Krugman, Orwell. I tend to really favor dystopian novels for some reason.

Movies: Christopher Nolan, but especially Memento. I never can answer this well, but I will watch most things. I dislike really awkward social comedies and slapstick comedy though. Not a huge fan of gory movies, but do love a good psychological thriller.

Music: House, trance, some dubstep (if done well), Vivaldi, Handel (the Messiah!), Jamie Cullum, Queen, Haywyre, Blackmill. A really ecclectic mix to be honest

Food:Basically everything and anything (although I am a veggie)

Family & friends (obviously)
Computer (if only because it's my gateway to the world and knowledge...and pictures of otters (the cuddly aquatic creatures) for obvious reasons)
Music
Kitchen (cooking is a huge part of what I love to do)

Climbing Shoes

Chilling with some friends with some drinks, talking or watching a movie. Sometimes going out, but I like smaller parties typically (although occasionally a big, loud, good time is needed). Working on occasion.

I have always struggled with self-esteem issues. Otherwise, I am pretty open and honest about most things with my friends.

Also, while I can often be pretty down to Earth, I am really a hopeless romantic at heart. I love to do little things for my partner to make him happy, and love it when he does little things for me

You're looking to meet someone new (and hopefully interesting to you!), make a new friend, and who knows, maybe fall in love? I am not looking for a hookup or casual dating, i've tried it and know it isn't for me.

Also if you have something more to say than just "hey" or "what's up?" I won't respond to those, I like intelligent conversation; small talk isn't my thing
