how about.. i enjoy listening to and creating music, baking cookies and just hanging out. i juggle. some people think that's weird but i really enjoy juggling (ps i highlighted both forms of the verb because i noticed that you get different numbers of people depending on which you search for. ;) ). i love hanging out with friends and going for walks. long ones. in the summer rain. this is so amusing cuz it sounds like such a stereotypical personals ad.. though i dont really like walking on the beach - that funky dusty feeling you get on your feet afterwards is not my favorite. unless walking on the beach means i have just been snorkeling, or boating, or some other lovely watery thing.

well, i taught english in south korea for the summer. am definitely looking forward to going back to visit. i just got my masters in higher education administration, and am out in the working world. scary, eh? i'm a residence hall director in an all women's hall. so, i spend a lot of time working with students, planning programs, and having awesome conversations. pretty neat :)

i love to do things where i feel as though i am making a difference. jobs that are just paper shuffling or stocking shelves can be good when i need mindless activity, but i am happiest when i get to have real interaction with people that allows me to make connections and see others grow.

i don't actually live in miami right now. i actually live in urbana, IL but haven't changed my profile location to reflect that b/c i don't want any of my students to accidentally find me :P so if you are an IL person wondering why a miami girl is looking at your profile, that's why :)

giving hugs and back rubs. also giving advice i'm told, though i'm not always very good at taking it.

being me. i've tried at times to be different, or not me, but it wasn't comfortable. me is fairly complicated, so it's hard to transpose all those elements into someone else. i'd rather just exist. if you like me, you do, and if you don't it's your loss.

my eyes. and that i smile a lot. sometimes at night they notice that i am throwing around flaming objects.. that tends to draw attention.

i've been told that some people pick up on a sense of overt sensuality with me.. must be something i do unconsciously, because it seems that when i try to do that on purpose i am not very successful :P

(b) amelie, princess bride, requiem for a dream, when harry met sally, sisterhood of the travelling pants, serenity, mirrormask, the west wing, anything involving eddie izzard, the secretary, and just about anything with audrey tatou, grey's anatomy

(c) hippy jam bands, jazz, frank sinatra, cake, country (specifically brad paisley because he has an uncanny ability to sing about my life), norah jones, cat stevens, the clash, queen, DMB, david bowie, frou frou, korean pop is amusing... things that i can sing along to :)

(d) anything curried, fruity pebbles, icecream, spaghetti, sushi, korean bbq

what a random number.. how about: my hairbrush (preferably with someone attached to it who is willing to brush my hair), books, music, massages (giving and receiving), my friends, and icecream.

how complicated things seem.. and how when i'm old i will laugh at myself for thinking that these things are difficult.

watching a movie, on duty, or staring at the ceiling. you'd be amazed the wisdom that hangs out up there.
