I have no idea. But I like to give the impression that I'm dependable, honest, and hardworking. For this reason I usually comb my hair, dress neatly, and try to show up on time.

Books? I LOVE books. F. Scott Fitzgerald, Truman Capote, Oliver Sacks. All that stuff. I really like non-fiction and biography as well. I recently finished The Idea Factory and Bonfire of the Vanities.

I'm working my way through the Last Lion (the latest ponderous biography of Winston Churchill).

As for music, I listen to mostly oldies and soul. I love the Beatles, Sam Cooke, lots of old blues/folk (Rev Gary Davis, Mississippi John Hurt, Elmore James), Townes Van Zandt, Paul Simon, and country music (Cash, Willie, Waylon Jennings, Brad Paisley, Josh Shelton, and some other new stuff as well).

My favorite TV shows are Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Bar Rescue, and Shark Tank. Loved True Detective, looking forward to the next installment. What will it be??
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'd like to think I could find a way to carry on no matter what. But, I'd be pretty damned miserable without a guitar. I also need to get some kind of exercise, like running, each day or I start to get ancy.

I don't think I could ever live seriously for any period of time without a dog around.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
