My name is Miles.

I photograph performing arts.
I went to OCAD for one year.
I have a thing for writing stories and poems and have been exceptionally well received as an unpublished human. Occasionally I sculpt and paint.
My coffee beans and bicycle get me going during the day, sometimes singing portions of songs.

I have lived abroad over the years, the last place being San Francisco, which was really cool.

Dating sites aren't really my jam, but I figure it's a good way of meeting new people.

Kurt Vonnegut. Bill Burroughs. Henry Miller I deeply admire for his love of life in intellect.
I read John Stuart Mill, Rousseau, Sartre, and several others every now and then.
I love the dead...writers.
I'm currently reading Gary Shteyngart which is actually turning out greater than I expected.

As with films I prefer classics like Casablanca, The 400 Blows, and Woody Allen films.
Henry Fool and Simple Men by Hal Hartley are two films I have good feelings towards.
I also like Wes Anderson, on occasion.
Ridley Scott was cool... until Prometheus.

Musically, I'm into some weird shit. Some jazz here. Chillout there. Modern music that hasn't been eaten alive by mainstream. And rarely, mariachi music.
