My self-summary
Savvy entrepreneur with the soul of an artist and a sharp-witted mind. Highly attuned to beauty, sensuality and magic while rooted in the here and now. Vibrantly creative designer of my life & surroundings—my home is a beautiful oasis. Open hearted, honest, articulate, self aware and kind. The right man gets exclusive access to my wild provocative side, and trust me, it's worth the effort.

My work engages & rewards me and takes me to places like Amsterdam—where I bought the sexiest pair of shoes ever, which I refer to as the Amsterdam shoes. (You will love them.) I identified a wee bit with Up in the Air. Yes, this mileage whore accumulates points religiously, has great travel karma and gives my hotel toiletries to a homeless shelter.

I’m politically astute and spiritually attuned but not dogmatic about anything, except kindness. Definitely kindness.

**if you're responding to what I've written and thinking, wow, she really knows how to express herself ...its because I got help via an ebook. And you can too. You can stand out from the crowd, attract the kind of women you want and qualify them at the same time with a better profile. Its a skill you can learn and elevate your success rate by an order of magnitude and most importantly, spare me from reading a lame profile that doesn't tell me anything about what a wonderful man you are. Okay, end of public service announcement....back to business....

I lean left...previously worked in politics for the enviro's and led a successful effort to protect 73 acres of forest in my neighborhood. I like knowing there are trees that will be around a long time after I'm gone. Ask me about my stint as the Erin Brokovich of GA, traveling with a portable copier & stack of FOIA requests, eventually stripping $1 million from the bad guys and saving a few rivers in the process, and the work I still do for GA's rivers.

My soulful artistic side revels in moments of exquisite beauty, like when I drove a convertible at night through the New Mexico high desert, stars stretching from one horizon to the other. Snowfall always gets me. I love wind and how light reflects on water. Take me someplace gorgeous in nature and I will be a happy grateful girl, I promise. Plus there's something about kissing while the wind is caressing your skin or when your toes are sinking into sand and waves....

Yoga, pilates and dancing have made my body strong and supple. Dancing is not a cliché with me, it’s a luscious spiritual practice I do twice a week to sweat my prayers. Moving my body = joy.

Yoga (I have studied with a true guru) has attuned me to the exquisite presence of the moment. I'm mesmerized when a man exudes presence, when he can hold me with just his gaze. The right look wielded well could actually set me on fire and leave me breathless.

The owner’s manuals for my approach to sexuality would be David Deida’s books. I believe in the transcendent power of flesh as a prayer mat (swiped that from Anais Nin) and the poetry of intimacy.

It took me a while before I understood men—how you think, what motivates you, how you love. Now I truly get how different you are and I appreciate those delicious differences.

A purposeful man accomplishing his mission in the world is a huge turn on. I admire your focus. Love watching you go the extra mile to make something better and seeing your generous heart in action. I want to lean into my man’s strength and direction. I’m no pushover but I know that a man of integrity has a more refined sense of direction than I’ll ever have and I’m happy to let you lead when you want to.

A man with a plan makes me hot. If you say, “Baby, pack a bag we’re going away this weekend,” all I need to know is what kind of shoes to bring. And don’t worry, I’ll surprise you sometimes too, I’m creative that way.

I crave smart, funny conversation that goes deep at times. Better yet, smart, funny, deep, sexy conversation. And about communication, I know that praise is more motivating than criticism. I promise to tell you what I am feeling and not make you guess.

You have a dynamic career and life as do I, but we also know when to put that aside. When I step on the plane to come home to you, I’ll deliciously spend every mile thinking about how you ignite me. I want people to say wow, they are true partners: two powerful people and no power struggle. We’ll thrive on learning from each other and deepening our already rich experience of life. But first things first, let's start by meeting and see what happens...
What I’m doing with my life
I’m an entrepreneur with a consulting firm where I design and facilitate strategy sessions and meetings using visual & creative processes. I've been in the HBR, the NYT's and worked with Victoria's Secret. ;)

Perfecting David Sweeney’s roasted potatoes with flax seeds and scallions. Seriously, go have a bowl of these at the Bakery at Cakes and Ale and tell me this is not a worthy endeavor. If I succeed, I may never have to leave the house.
I’m really good at
Fast Scrabble + visioning + singing Thunder Road a cappella + sexting + driving fast (not at the same time the sexting and driving fast) + napping + creating a home that feels like a retreat (I’m a Cancer so its part of the package) + making breakfast, fresh juice, omlettes…blueberry name it + listening + dancing for you + racing sailboats.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, blond hair and radiance.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too much to list, an eclectic mix--everything from Springsteen to Nina Simone with Nick Drake, Drive by Truckers, Van Morrison and Eva Cassidy mixed in. Plus a lot of dance. My desert island disk: Astral Weeks. Let's compare our various iProducts to find out what we have in common.
The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Yes, The Pillow Book, Rory O'Shea was here, Charlie Wilson's War, Out of Africa, Shakespeare in Love, Lars and the Real Girl, Becoming Jane, The King’s Speech, Lincoln
West with the Night, All the Pretty Horses, everything by James Salter, Lives of the Saints, Cold Mountain, though I mostly read non-fiction these days, everything by David Deida
shows: Downton Abbey, anything by Aaron Sorkin--West Wing, Veep, The Good Wife, Homeland
things I love:
The wind + farmers markets + sand and salt on my body + dark chocolate + cocktails that take time to make like an Aviation + the scent of a frangipani + people who live authentic daring lives + mangoes + gooey paint (especially glitter paint) + the turquoise blue of the ocean + ice skating + sail boats.
The six things I could never do without
my iPhone
my family, especially at Thanksgiving
the ocean and my bikini
healthy organic food, especially fruit (did I mention dark chocolate?)
kissing...I really love kissing
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why I keep getting hit on by 20-27 year olds. (I don't really spend a lot of time thinking about this its just funny that I do.)

Where I'm going to go to surf camp this summer. Costa Rica?

How I can miss my plane two years in a row after leaving a painting retreat in New Mexico. Last year it was only by an hour, the year before by a day. Given all the travel I do and NEVER miss flights ordinarily, it shows how far I go into the creative space when I paint for a week. So next year here’s the plan: you’ll fly in and meet me for a few days at the Bishops Lodge Ranch in Santa Fe. You will want to do this because after a week of painting I am one serious goddess. Juicy. Luscious. Then you’ll get my ass onto the plane. Deal?
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be any of these things: drinks & dinner with friends, sailing in the summer, flying back into town, hanging out in my neighborhood at an outdoor dance party, barefoot in my kitchen pouring champagne and cooking something up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a hot holy passion for peanut butter.
I’m looking for
  • Straight guys only
  • Ages 35–52
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single

You should message me if
You are mastering what you do. You know your mission/purpose, enjoy it and are rewarded for it. You are making the world a better place.

You are so deep and strong in your masculine sense of self that my constantly changing feminine emotions won't sway you. If I'm the river, you are the river bank. Steady. Strong. A rock.

You have an edge, a gentleman who is not always a gentle man.

You know that opening a woman’s heart is a worthy lifelong pursuit. You want to help her become her better self by gifting her with your strength, power, focus, planning, direction, and presence.

You are evolved; you’ve done the work. You value the gifts of your previous relationships. If you're a father, there's nothing sexier (okay, there might be one or two things that are sexier) than a man who gives his whole heart and attention to his kids.

You are happy yet restless.

You’re attracted to a woman’s confidence but can also prop her up when she needs it.

You won’t freak out when I ask you your birth date, time and place so I can look at your astrological chart—its how us evolved women check a man out.

Bonus points: You can teach me how to surf.

You’re tall because I love wearing high heels and so do you. Wait, you love for ME to wear high heels. Not you. Never you.

You like a woman who will challenge you (in a good way) with her intelligence, wit and provocation.

Mostly I want you to leave me breathless and wanting more, a man who I can compliment by bringing creativity, beauty and sensuality into your life while you gift me with your masculine strength, generosity, humor and powerful sense of purpose.

PS- I get A LOT of email. Monosyllabic greetings/compliments, and sentences less than five words typically don't motivate me to respond. Hopefully my profile inspires you to write something that's more than the linguistic equivalent of a grunt, yes? (that's a hint) :)

And because I delete so much crap, I got the rating that says I'm very selective in responding. DON'T let that deter you if you are sincere.
