My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in northern New Jersey, went to school in upstate New York, and then lived in NYC for three years before deciding I really needed to get out of the tri state area for a while. So, I moved to Chicago about a year ago for graduate school at UofC and I gotta tell you, I am really loving this city.

I am an animal lover and I frequently stop on the sidewalk to talk to dogs I don't know. If I could just roll around in a pile of puppies and kittens all day I would be happy. But since that is usually not how I spend my days, I have found that I enjoy reading, biking/walking around aimlessly, buying overpriced juices, taking naps, trying new restaurants, seeing movies, and traveling. And I love bargain hunting.

I maintain what I like to think of as a delicate balance between being sarcastic with a bit of snark and being really genuine and nice. I have always had a way of charming the pants off of peoples' parents.

I am extremely close with my family. I have two older brothers, a 1-year-old nephew, and 15 cousins, all of whom live on the east coast, so I try to get back there as often as possible to see everyone. Every Memorial Day we go on a big 30 person camping trip in the Poconos and it has come to be one of the highlights of my year, so hopefully I can find someone who won't mind roughing it for a few days with us! And I guess it's not really roughing it, because it's a campsite with electricity, running water, and bathrooms/showers, but still, I sleep in a tent for three nights, so that's sort of rough, right?

I also go to the movies by myself a lot. It just doesn't bother me. It's not like you talk during a movie, right? So I just don't see what the big deal is!

I am silly and weird and strange and I am looking for someone who shares this with me.

Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: historical fiction and/or anything on the NY Times trade fiction best seller list.

Shows: Orange is the New Black, Homeland, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Girls, Modern Family, and anything on HGTV.

Food: I love food. When I was growing up, my mom called me her garbage disposal. I've also participated and performed rather well in several eating contests.

Music: I am teased relentlessly for my taste in music. Squeeze, Third Eye Blind, and a lot of musical soundtracks.

Movies: I don't do scary movies because I am susceptible to nightmares, but other than that I like a little bit of everything. Some of my favorite and most oft-quoted movies include Heavyweights, Mrs. Doubtfire, Ferris Bueller, Se7en, Catch Me If You Can, Back to the Future, and Wet Hot American Summer.

Eating my feelings

No but really, I would always 1000% prefer to have a nice long dinner with friends and maybe play some Yahtzee or something rather than go to a loud bar and make small talk with strangers.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Wee Man bought me a fireball shot last year and then invited me back to his hotel room. I briefly considered it just to have the story.

you're jewish, quirky, liberal, and confident. If you aren't scared off by a girl who is an open book and rarely holds anything back (for better or for worse). If you're active, motivated, and HUNGRY FOR LIFE (and pad thai). And maybe you want to go on a bike ride with me and then eat tacos.

Also once I went on a first date and I had something in between my two front teeth the entire time and the guy didn't say anything. So please only message me if you promise you'd say something.

Bonus if you look like Andy Samberg
