My self-summary
NYC transplant from Texas, just like everyone else.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been in New York for two years now and work in publishing at Rizzoli. We publish art coffee table books that are hands down some of the most beautiful books I've ever seen. I work in production, which is the perfect balance between art and business. I really love my job and am excited about it often but still try to maintain a healthy work/life balance. I hope to stay at Rizzoli for a long time and see where things go from here.

Outside of work I really love to write and have big goals to one day publish my own book of short stories. I'm also currently working on a side project with a few close friends to create a platform for creative people in New York that want to share their passions. This is obviously still a big work in progress but one I'm excited about!
I’m really good at
a good conversation and a good laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
my glasses and whatever bag I'm carrying.

The six things I could never do without
a good book
my bed
my father
fall and spring
a home cooked meal
my gal pals
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the places I want to travel, the books I want to read, the movies I want to see, where I want to eat brunch in NYC, what I want to write about, where I'll be in 10 years, what time my train is coming, what I need from the grocery store, when basketball season is starting, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Honestly, after a long week at work there are very few reasons I'll go out on a Friday night. I really enjoy coming home, cooking dinner, and watching t.v. or a movie, or drinking wine on my roof with a few close friends. I usually fall asleep by midnight (if not earlier) and wake up pretty early on Saturday. Weekends are the best.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love some good ole' country music. Texas forever, y'all.
