During the day, I'm an environmental analyst (lots of number crunching, some web design, and a bit of chemistry).

Outside my job, I like to spend time outside and I enjoy a good adventure. I've snorkeled with penguins in Ecuador, survived a volcano eruption in Costa Rica, and determined (through trial and error) which north shore beaches allow late night visitors. Going for a run in a downpour always makes my day.

I also do a good bit of cooking. I love baking and I'm a big believer in brunch. Recently, I've been working on my bacon pancake recipe.

Catching fireflies, making Halloween costumes, untying knots, decorating cupcakes, treading water, avoiding freak gasoline fight accidents, and knowing where my towel is.

I have red hair and I'm tall.

Seeing a show, cooking dinner with friends, on a road trip to camp/ski/hike, throwing a party (usually this involves a theme - the bring-your-own-piñata-housewarming was a great one), or playing Cards Against Humanity.

I sound like a baby pterodactyl when I first wake up in the morning.
