First, you should know that I can spell "Manhattan." I just can't type.

As the title implies, I am an anomaly. (And yes, I lived in Manhattan for a few years.) I'm miserably forward and terribly genuine. I am versed in fine food, uncommon wines, cars (and not in the "oh I think that one is so cute" way), world travel, technology to some degree, and all sorts of other interesting and completely useless things.

I have three objectives in life: raising my kid, growing my business, and having fun. I'd like to meet someone (obviously). I'd also like to live in Europe and buy a beach house in Belize.

I'm living the dream. No seriously. I wake up every day, pinch myself, sigh and mutter "Yep. This is my real life."

I'm doing lots of this and that: mothering, grad student-ing, building a business, making some art, writing a book, cooking tasty stuff, exploring new places, and trying new things.

Making messes and fixing things (sometimes not in that order, sometimes mutually exclusive).

I think the right answer here is "all of it." Except for movies - I still have a virgin mind. I try not to fill it up with blood and guts and such. I like having sweet dreams at night.

No really, you should know I genuinely like all of it.

- Music: rocked out to Enimen and old-school 50 Cent on the way to see a show at the Grand Ole Opry.
- Food: I like equally pan-roasted brussel sprouts and hangar steak.
- Books: I have a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf in every room. No, I'm not kidding.
