My self-summary
Sparkling wit, ridiculously clever, oozing charisma, so beautiful I make your eyes hurt...these are all things people would say about me at gun-point, or if I gave them a sack of cash:-)

I am sociable, friendly, sporty (big into hiking, cycling, camping, outdoor swimming and more recently climbing). I have lots of interests...meditation, creative writing, taking pictures, travel, environmentalism, social justice issues, philosophy, spirituality, etc. I am close to family and have a good circle of friends..I like to eat (who doesn't), but not to cook. I can boil and scramble eggs..that's it as far as the cooking goes...tragic, eh?
What I’m doing with my life
I was born with the plastic multi-pack spoon in my mouth, so I graft for a living...luckily, I like what I do..I have what is euphemistically called a 'vocational' profession!
I’m really good at
Using a micro-wave
The first things people usually notice about me
On a first meeting, I imagine people would describe me as out-going, friendly, smiley, enthusiastic..
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like to read travel and adventure books, like Ranulph Fiennes and Jeffery Taylor. My favourite all time book is Viktor Frankl's 'Man's Search for Meaning'..I'm not a brilliant reader of novels..working my way through Madame Bovary at the moment.

I like documentary and arthouse movies..favourite director is Werner Herzog..also like humour..Woody Allen, Larry David, that kinda thing:-)
The six things I could never do without
mountains, the sea, biscuits and tea, my bike, interesting books, the wry, dry and scaldy humour of my friends:-)
On a typical Friday night I am
In a stupour after the week's graft
