My name is Shawn. I am 29 going on 20+10. I am originally from Albuquerque and have lived in Denver for about 3 years now. My main focus right now is getting my 2 businesses off the ground. My week days consist of school in the morning than working in the afternoon/evening. I love spending my weekends doing volunteer work or watching sports or picking up the digital camera and going for a drive to some place in the mountains and just having some fun relaxing without the big city stress. Some things I love to do would include a picnic followed by a lacrosse game or a Rockies game. Or perhaps a venture to the farmers market followed by an evening of experimenting in the kitchen with the random things we stumbled on to try. I am addicted to the show Good Eats. I love tattoos. I love dogs. My goal is to own my own charity fundraising business. I am not a huge drinker, but sitting down with some good vodka or a tasty bottle of wine is never a bad thing! I am pretty down to earth but I am also a clown and can from time to time say the most off the wall random thing. I love movies of all genres.

Currently, I have a full plate on my hands, but as the say idle hands are the devils playground right? Currently, I go to school full time (4 classes at Front Range CC) which will be applied towards my eventual BA in Entrepreneurial Management from CU-Boulder. I work full time at a mindless but easy job. I do the call volume forecasting and scheduling for a call center. I am one of the behind the scenes folks in other words. Also, I am currently in the process of starting up and running 2 businesses. Both are in conjunction with each other. The parent company is going to be an organization that essentially takes the fundraising element off of charity and non-profit orgs plates. I will come to the company and partner with them to do the fundraising so that they can focus more on actually providing the service or charity work they started out to do. The 2nd peice of the company will be a merchanside and clothing line with charity in mind. All profits from that side of the company will be diverted to create cash flow for the fundraising parent side of the company. I am also very involved in actual charity work itself. I just recently held my first event under the umbrella of my company which was a bbq/party to raise money for the Race for the Cure breast cancer walk. I also participated in the walk itself.

making people around me laugh! I am certainly the class clown of my group. I am also very good at motivating people and being that rock of support. Almost to a fault as it has led me to get burned by several people but I cannot change who I am nor would I want to! I am also damn good at cooking and I love to be creative in the kitchen!

Favorite books would be anything by Vince Flynn or Dan Brown. I am so excited to meet Vince Flynn later this month!! I cannot wait!

Favorite movies, hmmm.... I would say in no particular order just some movies I love are Very Bad Things, Swingers, Braveheart, Boondock Saints, Step Brothers, Old School, Anchorman, the Bourne series, Good Will Hunting, Fever Pitch, Major Payne and many many more.

Favorite music would be O.A.R., Coldplay or Dave Matthews Band. I also have a secret love for Bone Thugs n Harmony and most of the 90's hip hop scene back when rap was fun! I love heavy metal too when I am working out or driving home from a rough day at work!

Favorite food, I consider myself to be an Iron Chef. As in, give me a secret ingredient and let me see what I can do with it! My restaurant I want to own will be mostly eclectic in the sense of I like making random pairings and always trying new things!

Coffee, my Blackberry, my sense of humor (even when alone, I can make myself laugh haha), my sunglasses, my large hat collection, music (ipod, cds in the car, pandora streaming)
