My Self-Summary
I have a lifelong passion for learning and want to pursue a career
in scientific research. Having lived in NYC for 4 years, I love the
great vibe of the city, but I also try to get out upstate to go
hiking, mountain biking, and backpacking. I play on coed sport
teams, kickball and football, and have a great time going out with
the teams. I enjoy reading classical and current books alike and
discuss deep ideas with friends. I am a big fan of board games and
often host game nights for my friends. I have been swing dancing
for a couple of years(NYC is the Jazz capital!), and want to learn
salsa.
What I’m doing with my life
I am very passionate about science! I am a physics grad student in
Columbia, and I get to play with expensive toys and cool down
materials to absolute zero. But, I also try to keep a balanced
lifestyle playing sports, hanging out with friends, traveling, and
attending cultural events.
