I would classify myself as a skeptic. I love to think critically about everything in life, especially religion.
Politics are another subject that I love to scrutinize. There are so few people that know or even care about America's role the history of the Middle East. When people from that region attack us, we Americans are quick to condemn them without asking why. But when WE attack them, we fully expect them to understand why we're there. There will never be peace until we care more about justice than revenge.
Oh, and I also like cheese and very bitter beer :)
I'd like to meet anyone who has an open and inquisitive mind and likes to explore new interests and engage in a variety of physical and mental activities. I don't mind smokers, but it definitely puts a limit on how close I want to get to someone. I'm most compatible with liberal minded people. If you voted for Bush, we'd probably have lots to argue about :)
I believe relationships can take on many forms and still be mutually beneficial. They are like investments; you get the best returns when your investment has had time to mature. So ultimately, I'd like to find someone I can have a future with. But, meanwhile, being alone sucks and if someone comes along who for one reason or another doesn't fit the profile of a lifelong partner, but who is nonetheless attractive, trustworthy, and empathetic, then I wouldn't mind pursuing a platonic relationship that is still physically and mentally stimulating :)
Note to all religious nuts who feel the need to respond simply because I'm atheist: I'm more than happy to discuss religion, but please don't write unless you are actually willing to read the book you claim to pattern your entire existence after.
I am Introspective, logical, and silly
