My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Each day I’m grateful for the gift of being alive. Life is so precious, so wondrous… and always unfolding with the mystery we're unable to predict. I’m not always as present for it as I’d like to be, although it's my life’s path to come into greater presence. There’s more room to appreciate my friends, the breath in each moment, the beauty around me, having enough to live well. I live alone in a lovely home with fruit trees and an organic garden that I plant and tend to, along with a nice view in a beautiful location in Northern California, 1 hour north of San Francisco. I am healthy, fit (yoga and the gym), 5’9”, sensual, and solvent. I have work I love as a therapist and writer. I’ve been enriched and blessed by traveling to many places: South America, Europe, China, Southeast Asia. I especially love Thailand.

I’d love to share life with a smart, tender, kind-hearted woman with emotional depth, spiritual values, and who realizes that joy and fulfillment comes from connecting deeply and intimately with life and with each other—and also from being of service to others in some meaningful way. A shared capacity to connect is a deep longing. I appreciate a quiet mind, open heart, and presence with each other. I like conversation, but can we attune to the deeper heartfelt connection as we speak and listen? When I look in your eyes, I want to feel you there. I’m looking for someone who exercises, perhaps likes dancing, and is at least somewhat fit.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love my work in the mental health field. I am also a writer. Love gardening, yoga, gym, visiting friends and meeting new people. I've traveled overseas for fun and leading workshops. Trying to do my small part to make the world a better place is meaningful and engaging for me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have good empathy and am good at communicating and connecting in a deep way. I listen well, speak gently and slow to be angry.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Perhaps my warm smile and kind, engaging eyes.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Engaging smiles, irreverent humor, smoothies, making some contribution to our world, my gym, warm, lingering hugs.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm not fond of thinking too much, but I probably spend more time than necessary thinking about all the suffering in the world and how to respond to it. And I think about how to take care of my body, mind and soul. Lately, I've been thinking about cleaning out my garage and shedding some things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
engaging with friends, eating out, chilling out, waiting for you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I lived in New York in the 70's, I'd often pay the toll of the car behind me. 10 cents. Big spender!
