I am a 42 yo divorced man for the past 4 years. I have two teen children who are or about to start their own dating thing. My children live with me full time. I am a Design Engineer, I love what I do, I always have a passion for challenges, no routine reputation in what I do.

I enjoy movies mostly sci-fi, action, Marvel Comic or movies that are soon to be iconic ie. Grand Torino, Beer fest. I also enjoy camping there is nothing better than living out doors. Biking, Golfing (kinda suck at it),watching a huge storm roll in, I like to enjoy things that most people usually take for granted. I also enjoy music rock mostly, big into Floyd and Zepplin, some country, Jonny Cash, Bob Dylan, absolutely hate Rap...it's not my thing. I lived through the 80's era...lets just say, "I'm glad its over".

I'm looking for a woman who out grew her materialistic and petty teenage quirks. I like women who knows how to be a woman. Someone who would like to work out differences, rather than tell all her friends and ask for their opinion. A woman who wants to be treated like she deserves.

I don't mind a person who misspells words or is open with her feelings. Cautious of being hurt, but not make me have to prove my self worthy. That can work both ways you know. It can be difficult meeting new people, finding common qualities takes time.

I have been told that I am a unique thinking person. I do like to look at things with multiple perspectives,probably manifested from my profession. I can be a dork sometimes but is that a bad thing. I'm not at all serious unless it involves my kids well being.

During the winter months I enjoy snowmobiling, sitting by a warm fire, watching hockey or basketball on the tele. During the summer months I enjoy a good long bike ride or going to the ball game.

Things going on in my life ... my daughter dating boys...I try to be open about it...it's tough. lol.
My son is just starting to chase the ladies...let their dads sweat it a little....just kidding he's a good kid.
I have a kitty, his name is PITA...(Pain In The Ass) He lives up to his name.

I have a five year goal....hopefully I will be an empty nester with my new girl (could be you), I have always wanted to go to Germany for a few month visit. Ideally during Octoberfest.

I'm a believer in life experiences as a journey. I had many journey some good, some bad. These journeys put together make you into what you are as a person. My journey right now is to keep from falling into the poor economic meltdown and providing the best I can for my children. My parallel journey is to find peace and harmony in my life, seeking my 'soul mate'.

I'm a Design Engineer in the automotive sense. I enjoy keeping my landscape well groomed as well as growing my little veggie garden for my homemade salsa.

A lot of people judge by whats on the out side and miss all the wonderful things on the inside. After getting to know me I can be very charming. My personality is usually what people notice about me. Then they often want to know what i'm all about.

Books....don't really read books. Comic books maybe. lol

Movies....action, sci-fi flicks. Surround sound, HD junkie ...love high quality audio video flicks.

Music....mostly Rock ....i'm open to a variety.

Food....Thai food of course, is there anything better?????
Mexican food is up there too...gotta love the fajitas.
The hotter the better...haven't found my limit yet....

I think about if I will ever fall in love again. I think about getting old. I think about my future....the pages of life are empty with hopes to be filled with good memories, relationships, growing family....love.
