As far as online dating goes, I don't know that this format has helped. While it does offer access to many people. It seems like it has turned it into a shopping spree. With lots of window shoppers, with no intention of opening the door to see whats really inside. That being said, I'm taking a break from making the first contact because I'm just tired of having to create interesting letters and having to try to "sell myself", only to be dismissed.
Well, time to make it simple. Just a nice guy looking for a nice lady. And yes I know what they say about how nice guys finish. And I know there is a truth in that. Not all nice guys are boring....safe maybe, but I've never been accused of being boring.
I’ve been giving serious thought to moving to Valcabamba Ecuador. It’s as close to heaven as I’ve seen without being tropical like Hawaii, plus it’s more affordable. At about 5100 to 5500 feet it’s close to Albq. But it never goes below 50 or above 88 degrees now that’s heaven to me. Moist enough not to have the damn dust storms and you can grow anything, from coconuts to coffee and any kind of fruit or vegetable.
My idea is to get someplace large enough to allow a couple of local families to buy homesteads cheap enough they could afford to live, while generating enough income to pay the utilities and taxes. In exchange for them raising the food. Anything beyond our (collective) needs could be sold and the profit shared. So if a simpler, healthier life appeals to you drop me a note. Look it up it is called the valley of longevity, because of how old people live there. It is virtually free of pollution in almost any form. The locals of very aware of pesticides vs organic.
