Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Kevin. I'm a student, and a fan of the arts and sciences. I do
a lot of reading, a little writing, and some movie watching here
I'm into photography
too. I usually have my
cameras with me, and can't pass up a good photo op. I've been known
to go on hiking trips just to get some good shots.
I am smart, open minded, and spontaneous
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just graduated college with a degree in nuclear engineering. I'm
currently looking for a job/career and not really sure where I'm
going to end up. Unfortunately, this makes it hard to start a
relationship knowing I might have to move away relatively soon.
However, I am still looking for friends (from anywhere) and am
always up to go out for a beer or just chat about whatever. I try
to get out when I can and do some photography, but like I said,
time is in short supply at the moment!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm pretty good at photography
. I mostly do nature or
city scenery but sometimes it's nice to work with people as
I'm also good at sarcastic remarks, explaining complicated things,
and going off on tangents.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
They usually notice my hair. Sometimes it's tame, sometimes it's
spiked up, and sometimes it's just downright unruly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Sci-fi/fantasy, especially books like Snow Crash and The
Diamond Age. Don't get me wrong, though, I read other genres, but I
generally prefer those.
Movies: I like a pretty broad range of movies. I like movies like
Butterfly Effect, the Lord of the Rings series, Watchmen, and some
Will Ferrell movies.
Music: Techno's my one true love, musically speaking. I like other
stuff, too, like metal, namely bands like Labyrinth.
Foods: Sushi is most excellent. I also like some plain old American
food, like steaks and beer. I don't limit myself to those, however,
because nothing beats a good schnitzel or bowl of chicken fried
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books to read. I've got quite a back log of books to read, some
new, some old, but most of them are in between.
My camera. It's a Canon XTi with 18-55mm lens. It survived a trip
into the lake with me when I slipped on some rocks..
My cat. She's a bioelectric lap warmer that purrs and tries to trip
me. She's done wonderful things for my balance.
Learning something new every day.
My friends. Otherwise life would be pretty damn boring.
Notebooks to write in. I keep a journal on a fairly regular basis,
but I also write fiction whenever inspiration strikes.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
School, my future, saving up for rainy days..
[The church bell ringing,
Not even sunrise,
Not even SunDAY.
Seagulls down by the ocean,
The fish out of water,
Surprise, alma mater.
Good morning, good day, good evening,
Won't you stay?
Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow I say,
Sit down with me,
and we'll fly away.]
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday night I'm usually out with friends having fun and enjoying
life. Sometimes I just like to stay home and read or watch movies,
but nothing beats good company after a hard day of school.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like to go swimming, but can't actually swim very well. After
much hard work, I can float in the general direction of my choice,
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you're a nerdy (or at least intelligent/open minded) girl you
should certainly send me a message. We'd totally get along. Even if
we can't get romantically involved, I'm always looking for people
to grab a beer and a chat with once in a while!
Just fair warning here, but I'm a cuddle whore. Cuddles don't
necessarily mean I'm interested in someone enough to fall in love
and get married, but they do require some kind of connection, be it
intellectual, physical, or straight up in love. If you're cool,
open minded, and can have a good conversation, cuddles are
officially on the table! Life is too short to go without human
contact just because you aren't in a committed relationship. This
isn't a euphemism for sex, by the way, so unroll your eyes and try
to smile a little!
