My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If you judge books by their covers, you miss out on many amazing stories.

I am a nerd, and I look the part.

But I am also an adventurer. I always seek out my next journey.

I am an amateur philosopher, always trying to find my place in the world. Where do I belong? Who do I belong with? I examine my friendships and my family on a daily basis. I think about love and what it means.

I love many things. My family, my friends, fiction, writing, the ocean, the forest, the sky - frankly, if I listed everything in the world I loved, it would take forever. To me, a person seeking love is a person who cannot find the joy that is already around them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am presently enjoying my day job (data entry for a website that sells concert tickets. The job is dull, but it pays the bills and I get to go to the occasional free concert) while working on writing a novel, a musical, and many other fun projects.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, cooking, solving puzzles, comedic timing, dry and sarcastic humor, giving compliments, and the right partner can get me to dance.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My fashion sense.

To keep this short, I won't list all of my favorites! I am a person who enjoys many, many things, and fiction is my biggest passion. Good fiction will get me every time.

Books - The Dresden Files, Codex Alera, Millenium Trilogy (AKA Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), High Fidelity, Life of Pi, Discworld, anything by Neil Gaiman.

Movies - Moulin Rouge, Love Actually, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Avengers, Sherlock Holmes, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, terrible B-movies, and most anything else with a sense of fun to it.

TV Shows - Grey's Anatomy, Sherlock, How I Met Your Mother, Doctor Who, Arrested Development, Supernatural, Veronica Mars.

Music - Within Temptation, Lindsey Stirling, Owl City, Alphabeat, Eisley, Sarah Brightman, Butterfly Boucher, Muse, The Killers, Yoko Kanno.

Food - Yes please. Seriously, good food is like magic.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Something to write with/on.
2. My family.
3. Freedom to explore the world.
4. Friends.
5. Good company.
6. New experiences.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Fictional worlds and characters, commonly ones that I proceed to commit to paper.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either out with friends or being a homebody.
