***UPDATE*** I will be moving to the Topeka/Lawrence/KC area soon.

So let's see...I'm a single mom of two wonderful boys. I am a writing and women's studies instructor while also getting my masters in cultural studies. I'm fairly busy, but I think it's imperative to make time for those who are important, whether friendships or relationships. I have the best friends I could ask for, and that is what makes Manhattan somewhat bearable. Otherwise, I'd be living in a bigger city (I've primarily lived in the city) and soaking up all the culture I could. I'll be graduating in May of 2013, so I'll be looking to move then, probably to either Lawrence, KC, or Wichita. I'm excited to see what the future hold for me.

I have a couple tattoos, so if that's something you're into--great. If not, just wanted to let you know.

I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, witty, funny, caring, spontaneous, adventurous, open, and doesn't mind an independent woman. I would love to meet someone who believes that friendship is the key to a healthy relationship, but also recognizes the importance of good communication. There is nothing sexier to me than a great conversation with someone who has a beautiful smile on his face.

Currently, I'm an instructor, student, friend, but my most important role is mother. I'm almost done with grad school, and I can't wait for the next chapter in my life.

out with friends after a work event, but some Friday nights I just want to stay in from such a busy week. I love to cuddle up on the couch with a good book or watch a movie and drink a glass of wine.
