Hey, my name's Nich. I grew up in western Colorado, but I'm living in Boulder now. I've been here for 6 years getting my undergrad and now my graduate degree. Working on a PhD is fun, often frustrating, and always taxing.

In my free time I love to watch the Rockies down at Coors Field. Nothing says summer to me more than a beer at the ball park. Otherwise, you'll find me listening to This American Life while I'm going for a run or checking the latest on Drudge to keep up on the latest.

In general laid back is how I prefer to be. Staying at home with popcorn and a DVD is a perfect weekend night. Weekends are generally for relaxing for me.

I'm Catholic and it's become a pretty big part of my life in the past couple of years. It means a lot to me that someone believe in something past oneself. I'm really open minded to others' beliefs just as long as they know why they believe what they do.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Right now I'm trying to get a PhD in Chemical Engineering. I like it alright, but from day to day the love of the job varies. I don't mind it, though, really, because I don't have a boss, per se.
