My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Edit: I'm in Grayslake for a month right now before I go back to school. :)

Hello! I'm Connor. My profile says I'm a bi dude, but my sexuality and gender identity are probably more accurately defined as *shrug*. I identify mostly as agender so. Thats a thing. I'm 21 years old, going to school at Western Michigan University. I'm an English major. Despite my love of the language and my knack with words, it means that as soon as I graduate, my degree will float up of its own accord, smack me across the face, ask what the hell I was thinking, and turn into a Bachelors degree in Bartending. On the bright side, though, with my new bartending degree I'll be able to get a job!

I'm doing my best to live life to the fullest, enjoying every moment I can. I'm also doing what I can to insert cliches into every thing possible. It's my destiny, and I've decided to start with this profile.

Also, for what it's worth, my hair is bright blue right now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm in my third year of college, and I'm working on an English degree so that I can work for a publishing company as an editor.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
various pointless things like video games, writing, coming up with ridiculous reasons why doing something incredibly stupid is not a terrible idea, sarcasm, and making terrible jokes.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well, obviously excluding my dashing good looks and stunning personality, it'd have to be how loud and quick to joke I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:
A Midsummer's Night's Dream, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Dune, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Name of the Wind, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Body.

Movies:
Princess Bride, Stand By Me, any MST3K, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Sandlot, Thankskilling (or literally ever other incredibly awful horror movie because come on, they're so great), and bad movies in general. There's something about sitting around with your friends and making fun of a shitty movie that's fantastic.

Shows:
Lots and lots and lots

Music:
I listen to a lot of hip-hop, mostly. POS and Dessa are probably my two favorite artists right now, with Doomtree, Kanye West, and Eve close behind. I've also started listening to a lot of Streetlight Manifesto recently. But I was raised on Phish, Grateful Dead, and Bruce Springsteen, so they usually find a way into my playlists as well. I also unabashedly love Ke$ha. :)

Food:
Edible, mainly. If it's bad for me as well as delicious, that's just a bonus.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Books
-All of my friends
-Air, I guess?
-I should probably include food
-and water as well.
-And the last spot goes to jokes. Things would be boring without them, and shitty movies would only be shitty. Who on earth would want to live such a tragic existence?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Linguistics, the way words operate and impact our way of seeing the world, narratives and the means of shaping them, the way non-traditional narratives function

also queer stuff.

Also space.

Seriously, space is fucking huge
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, mostly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once called my teacher "Mom" in second grade.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You'd like to! But please, have something more interesting to say than hey, hi, or hello. Otherwise there's a significant chance I just won't respond.
EDIT: Yo okay seriously I have no problem talking to people but if you send me a message that literally just consists of "Hey how's it going" or something along those lines I'm gonna have like zero interest in continuing the conversation
